The Rainbow bridge received Rocky today. Never gets easy. 12 and a half years. Reunion underway on the soft green grass and rolling hills just beyond the brdige.

I was there when you were born, nearly 12 years ago. First to hold you. Saw that big white chest and fell in love. Last holiday was to Utah. This girl loved her family. Loved and leaped for joy when Reece and Ryn visited. My constant companion...upstairs or downstairs...or the toilet. Lol. I was heartbroken today. My vet and vet nurse loved you too..have known you for the last 7 years. The Rainbow Bridge has a big reunion tonight. Patton and Scarlett, Mia, Alice, Java, Culann, Mo Nighean and Duke. Farewell my lovely girl.

From a post on R R Rules: Proud Dad moment tonight. I purchased a doorbell on Amazon that works for dogs. When they want out, they put their noses against the device and it rings. When I hear that I get up and walk to the door to let her out. When she is ready to come back in, there's another doorbell device mounted outside that she just repeats the process. I thought it would be difficult to train my Ellie, but tonight... She finally figured it out. 🙂

LUNA here….I would like to file a formal complaint. My parents thought it would be fun to camp 🏕 in 6 states over the next 3 weeks. We are only on DAY 2. It’s insanely HOT ☀️ and there are bugs everywhere. My nap schedule is completely ruined. Yesterday I fell off the paddleboard into the water 💦 , a huge ant 🐜 bit my paw, mosquitoes 🦟 attacked me outside, and there are tarantulas 🕷 crawling on the ground around me. I don’t know how I’ll ever survive this “adventure” they are calling it.
