Huge shout out of thanks to the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy who stopped in tonight to drop off cash and a huge batch of items they collected to donate. The cats will love the toys but we volunteers get more excited over the cleaning supplies. Our shifts clean 7 days a week so it takes a lot to keep the shelter going. We greatly appreciate NDEE and their effort to help us!

In case you missed it, our litter of 10/11 kittens was on the news! Litters often have theme names, thanks to our creative foster parents, and this batch was no exception!

The Cat House is looking for homes for seven kittens and a mother named after 10/11 team members.

Binx is an older gentleman who sometimes forgets his gentlemanly manners, but he also doesn't have the best vision so it's understandable that he doesn't like surprises. A quiet, predictable home would make him feel most secure.

We're so proud of Finnegan! He has lost an entire pound since coming to TCH so now there's only 19 pounds of love crushing your chest as he lays on you instead of 20!

Is it any surprise three of these little cuties are already pending adoptions? To help learn manners and burn energy, kittens do better with a friend, so when you adopt two, the second adoption fee is half price.
