Uplifting Paws Uplifting Paws is 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that focuses on improving the lives and independence of those with disabilities with service dogs.

We also offer dog training services for the general community, and for future therapy dog teams. Uplifting Paws (UP) is a nonprofit organization based out of Lincoln, NE. Founded in late 2017, UP has two specific purposes: to provide highly trained service dogs for disabled persons who would benefit from a service dog, and to provide training and volunteer opportunities for therapy dogs.

Are you passionate about social media and looking to gain real-world experience? We’re on the hunt for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and get hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement.
🔹 What You’ll Do:
• Assist with content creation (graphics, posts, stories, etc.)
• Help manage and schedule social media content across platforms
• Track and analyze social media performance
• Collaborate with the team on campaigns and creative strategies
• Stay on top of social media trends and help implement them
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
• Creativity and a passion for digital marketing
• Experience with design tools like Canva, Adobe, or similar (a plus!)
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

We're beyond thrilled to announce that our amazing trainer, Elizabeth, has successfully completed the CPDT-KSA Certification, a challenging and prestigious certification in service dog training! 🐾✨

In fact, according to CCPDT's 2023 numbers, there are less than 200 people with this certification worldwide!!

This accomplishment is a testament to Liz’s dedication, hard work, and passion for changing lives. By achieving this milestone, Liz is even better equipped to guide our incredible dogs to become life-changing partners for those in need.

We are so proud of you, Liz, and we can’t wait to see how your expertise will continue to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their future service dogs! 🦮💙

Earlier this summer, we placed Ace as a service dog 🦮 with his new handler, Jay. These two make an amazing team! They quickly bonded, and Ace learned how to task for Jay whenever they need him.
