Newt is officially on the market ❤️
5 year old AQHA sorrel gelding
14.3 hands & sweet to be around. He was one of Justin’s main mounts while guiding elk hunts in WY & handled it all extremely well from packing horns & meat to being safe down the trail in some rough country. They ride roughly 30 miles into the back country of WY and have to be level headed enough to deal with bears & other predators, he was great from the first trip in. All that said he is not a beginners horse, he’s broke and good minded but he can be fresh if he’s laid off for extended periods of time, we want to be as honest as possible when we sell one so you know what you’re dealing with.
He travels extremely well, that trip was around 24 hours in a trailer over a couple of days and he never stopped eating or drinking while on the road & hauls alone or with other horses great.
He stands for farrier- currently only wears front shoes and he can go without them if you want.
Wormed regularly & UTD on yearly vaccinations, coggins will be due soon so he will come with a new set.
He’s priced in the mid 4 digits( I got in trouble for posting prices 🙃)
