🐕 " Holding JOSE Before Taking JOSE Home."🍑
It was a Life Lifting Moment.
JOSE is a 2 yr old Chihuahua mix from an overcrowded Georgia shelter- a tiny Georgia Peach Pup, so to speak.
His new Mom is Last Hope volunteer RACHEL.
She realized how peachy keen & sweet he is.
That's why she embraced JOSE, adopted him, took him home, while changing his call name to CARTER
Which sounds so respectfully Presidential, especially for a dog from Georgia.

FOUND 2/26/25, Deer Park, case #25-86, female, contact Babylon Animal Shelter to identify/claim, 631-643-9270. If you are interested in adopting, you can come to the shelter, meet the dog, and then put in an adoption application. Up to 5 applications will be taken. Our strays are held 5 days by law and then they will get an exam, Heartworm test, microchip, and spay/neuter, and other medical procedures. Only once that is complete can they be picked up for adoption. You can expect it to take 1-3 weeks before a dog is ready for adoption.

🐈 😪Oh, No! LAST HOPE Ran OUT of PAPER TOWELS! And the CLEANING MUST GO ON!
especially since we have new puppies.
We'd appreciate donations of paper towels so we can replenish our supply & keep all cages and kennels immaculate.
On an average day, about 7 rolls of paper towels are needed to clean the Cat Side of the Wantagh Adoption Center.

Paper Towels can be dropped off at 3300 Beltagh Ave, Wantagh 11793 which is the address of the Last Hope Adoption Center. Thank U again. Even one roll helps keep us rolling in a tidy way.
