WHOA!!!! The Great Lakes Beetle Barn is STILL at it finishing up some absolutely incredible European deer mounts for lucky hunters!!! Joe Hoogstad and his daughter were able to both fill their PA buck tags last season and wanted to display them proudly! We went to work and made it happen! Lilly opted for an incredible snow Camo hydrodipped pattern on some awesome 2-tone wood. The other stuck with the natural white look on a darker backdrop.
They both turned out great! The upcoming season is fast approaching, please consider us this year for you’re European mount! We are located in Espyville, PA in WMU 1A.

A whitetail deer with FANGS this morning that just came out of the beetles. 1 in 20,000 deer have this cool trait! It’s gonna be a damn good day!
Now that’s a healthy looking colony of beetles at the Great Lakes Beetle Barn! This head was just put in about 10 minutes ago to start the transformation!
.
No days off at the Great Lakes Beetle Barn! The workers are more than hungry and we are happy to report that MORE reinforcements are Enroute! You guys are amazing, if expanding and needing a BIGGER operation mid way through the season is any indication of success, I think we’re nailing it!!
Coming along nicely! It’s been a busy week here at the Great Lakes Beetle Barn and we are only about halfway through our yearly workload! You guys are awesome! I can’t thank you all enough for the continued support and referrals!
Yahtzee!
The new beetle colony was immediately put to work and doing a phenomenal job! This additional colony should speed up our turn around times and get your trophy back home to you faster!
.
Reinforcements have arrived!!! It’s always a good thing when you can’t keep up with the demand and need to reinvest some money into
Another beetle colony. After a few days these bad boys will be acclimated and ready for YOUR trophy at the Great Lakes Beetle Barn!
Whoa! This thing is cool! I’ve never seen bases PACKED full of “rub rash” like this before! I can’t wait to do this mount, we are HOPING to leave all the tree bark in there. What cool character

Phew!!! The final stretch (for now) as the archery season comes to
An end! 18 left here in my possession to skin out so if you’re waiting on a mount back it’s either in the bugs, in the degreasing stage or next in line!
The process has been going very very good and the beetles are making quick work of the heads! I definitely appreciate the patience, you guys kept me VERY VERY busy this archery season. These will all be skinned and started (if all goes as planned) before rifle season opens next week, so, STAY TUNED!!! We have a few very fun projects coming up for some successful young hunters and their first deer!

Ready! The freezers are full but we are making progress! It’s a great day at the Great Lakes Beetle Barn
Staying very very busy over here lately and people are loving the rustic wood plaques!! The weathered grey and torched weather brown have been the most popular by far! What one is your favorite!?
We are still accepting more work and will always give you the best quality European mount around. Call, text or message for details!
