Been while since I did an update on how things are going so here are a few recent mounts i have completed plus a first for me had this Colorado bull elk brought to me so that was quite a surprise to have show up !all around it was aonther successful season for Little Sioux River Taxidermy got just a few more deer yet to get done won't be long now and I'll be all caught up from everything that was brought to me.

Well the time of year has arrived for the orange army to gear up and hit the woods first season shot gun is open today here in Iowa we here at Little Sioux River Taxidermy would like to wish you shot gun hunters a safe and happy gun season ! Also friendly reminder all deer must be legally tagged before the deer is even moved and or gutted on the spot upon recovery of the animal also if you you take some time and have not decided on weather you want us to a European mount or take somewhere to have a shoulder mount done please do you and your Taxidermy a favor and put the head in the freezer do not let it hang in a barn or shed or any where thats othere than a freezer where it will start to rotting then decided later you want something done with it and end up bringing a rotten deer head to your taxidermist don't be that guy !

Wanna take a minute and thank all of the clients Past and present. Who have come to me With their trophy to get it done and back to you in timely manner your business is very much appreciated more than you know . This season have gotten a few deer in and even one brought in today ! Hope you all have a safe and fun rest of the hunting season happy hunting and once again thank you from the bottom of my heart thank you can't wait to see what els is brought in this season! 🦌

Just another day in the shop!took this antelope buck i got brought to me from a client few weeks back from their Wyoming trip got it out the freezer earlier this morning to get the head skinned and get the horns poped off and get to work on it 1 of 2 they brought me my first 2 antelopes ever to be brought to me kinda cool to work on a different critter that come from a different state not the typical whitetail that get brought to me every season here in Iowa good change of pace mix it up a bit !!!

Been ok so far this season got some whitetails to finish up that I got earlier this season to do as well and these antelope . Hope you all are having a safe and successful season everybody!

Hello from Little Sioux River Taxidermy ! 2022 - 23🦌 deer season is finally here!!!! . Today was opening day here in Iowa kicking off the season with the youth hunters and the disabled. We would like to wish all the deer hunters out there good luck shoot straight have fun most importantly be safe out there in the field this season!

Its time to go make a special delivery to a young man right now ! Youth hunters are my favorite deer to do love hear them huntin stories from the kiddos! Its great to see the younger generation getting into things like hunting and trapping !

This deer had to be mounted on a Mountain Mike's reproduction skull.🦌
