From overcoming hurdles in and out of the show pen to making semi-finals and finals. These girls work their butts off and it’s definitely showing!! We traveled to Sulphur Springs, Tx for the weekend show and had lots of success, from picking up checks to conquering some things we’ve really been working on in the show pen.

This weekend we found ourselves in Shawnee, Ok for the WCHA/USCHA show. Not only did we have some excitement for our horses successes but the weather decided to show up and twist things up a bit!

We hit the road back home to beat the storms rolling in! We are heartbroken to hear of the devastation of some of the Oklahoma towns that we were in just days and hours before! We will continue to pray for Oklahoma!

This past weekend we loaded up and experienced the brand new facility in Lorena, Tx for the ACHA cutting. What an awesome place. Cattle were good, people were great, overall experience 👍🏻👍🏻!

What a whirlwind week it has been here at Hayes Performance Horses!

Last week we loaded up and headed to West Monroe for NCHA Eastern Nationals. Let me just start off by saying what a fun show. The schedule is not too hectic and you are able to enjoy time with friends and clients.
🔹Lizzie Meerman started us off in the 2K Limited. She had a great run started but some bad luck on her 3rd cow kept us out of the finals.
🔹Lenlei Weeks-Furlong was up next in the 15k Amateur. She and her mare had the BEST and SMARTEST run they have had yet. Being in the first set of the 15 we had to then sit and watch the bubble with anticipation and it came down to the last couple of horse but she got herself a trip to the Finals. It was Lenlei’s first Finals and we are very proud of her.
We are extremely proud of all of our clients and can’t wait to continue this show season with them.

Our time home was short lived as we had to switch horses and head to Ardmore for the World Cutting Horse Association, LLC. show this past weekend. A lot of success was to be had in the show pen.

LONG would not even be an accurate description of the cutting this weekend. But it was great getting to see friends and show our horses!

Rick showed his 4yos Tangled Up N Blu and She Wares The Crown. These babies get smarter every trip to the herd.

Rick also showed A Lot in the 5/6 Open and man that little mare had the biggest Heart ❤️

Lizzie Meerman showed Lotta Sticky Sweet in the 15Ama and won 🥇 the first day.

Lenlei Weeks-Furlong showed Mollys Peppy Cat and picked up 🥈 the first day.

Cutting at 2 AM is not for the faint of heart and we are sure proud of all of our horses and customers. We have the Best Team.

WCHA FINALS RESULTS

We loaded up and headed to Ardmore for the World Cutting Horse Association, LLC. finals and boy was it a great show! We brought home lots of goodies and couldn’t be more proud of our horses and our customers. Finishing the year up we had 2 Year End Champions, A Reserve Champion, A weekend Circuit Champion, and a Weekend Reserve Circuit Champion!! 🥰😍

🔹Rick Hayes and A Lot finished the year out as the 4 Year Old Open Champions. 🏆🥇

🔹 Rick Hayes and LBR Eve finished the year as the Open Herdwork Champions. 🏆🥇

🔹 Rick Hayes and Believin The Rock finished 5th overall in the Open Herdwork Class! 🥰

🔹 Lizzie Meerman and Lotta Sticky Sweet battled hard and came out strong to win both days and lock down Reserve Champion in the 2K Limited class. She was also the weekend Circuit Champion! 🥰🥇🏆

🔹 Lenlei Weeks-Furlong and Mollys Peppy Cat got a late start to the season but has learned so much and improved leaps and bounds. This sure is a fun little duo to cheer for! 🥰

🔹 Trapper Hayes and All The Federales came out and laid it down in the Youth! If you weren’t watching you sure missed some amazing cutting. The youth class got very rank! 😍

🔹 Blevins Hayes and Houdini Rey also battled it out in the Youth laying down some huge scores. The pair ended the year as the weekend Circuit Champions! He got a beautiful Cuttin Up show pad! 😍

We would like to extend a Huge THANK YOU 🙏🏻 to all of our Help in and out of the arena. We couldn’t do it without your help. It is definitely a group effort.

This past weekend at the World Cutting Horse Association, LLC. show in Ardmore was a huge success. 💥💥Every horse that we took that walked to the herd picked up a check. 💵 We cannot be more proud of our team and their hard work in and out of the arena.

Then an extra icing on the cake… Blevins got to get on stage and play 🎸🎤 a few songs in front of a few strangers!! We are so proud of him! His nerves were high but his courage was higher!! This kid is going places!! Thank you to the kind stranger that gave him the opportunity! We will never forget it!

🔹Rick and LBR Eve picked up 3rd🥉 on Friday and 1st 🥇 on Saturday in the Open Herdwork. This little mare is really coming along in leaps and bounds. 😍

🔹Rick and A Lot also picked up 1st 🥇 in the 4yo Open. Kimber had a good run marking a 74.

🔹Rick and Mollys Peppy Cat picked up 2nd 🥈 in the 4yo Open! This is only their second show together. The future is looking bright for them!!

🔹Lizzie Meerman and Lotta Sticky Sweet placed 2nd 🥈in the 2K Limited Amateur. We just love this duo and are loving 🥰 watching them grow together. Rowdy Larson Cutting Horses is not only great help at the shows but he is also a sneaky little photobomber 📸💣

🔹Lenlei and Mollys Peppy Cat showed in the 15k Amateur class. She has only shown this mare 4 times and they are just the best little team! 💕It’s gonna be so exciting to watch them in the future!!
