Cuban false chameleon- Lifespan- up to 6 years (longer in captivity)-Length- up to 7 inches. Cuban false chameleons are apart of the anole family but can "change color" by firing up and down from almost black to almost white, and sometimes the in-between shows off some amazing patterns. Typically friendly, these anoles are much hartier than their true chameleon counterparts.

Animal highlight- Ackie monitor
Ackie monitors are smart little lizards that reach up to 24 inches in length. These curious monitors are originally from Australia and are only available through captive breeding. Despite their small size Ackie monitors need a larger enclosure to thrive. With proper care these guys can live up to 20 years!

Meet Murderface! He looks sweet and innocent but I assure he is not. This tokay gecko measuring in at 13 inches is Josh's personal favorite. Tokay geckos are known for their beautiful colors and aggressive nature.

Chahoua gecko- My personal favorites! For anyone looking for a gecko thats a bit more unique, I highly recommend a Chahoua!! Slightly longer and slender headed than a crested, with similar care requirements and great temperaments. I love trying to figure out where they are hiding, so I can scoop them up and fed them.

We often get asked "What's your favorite animal?" And while Josh and I have different ideas on that topic, this guy tops my list. We affectionately call him Fatman, as he is pretty lazy, and loves to eat. He is a purple albino tegu, and is one of the sweetest personalities around.
