Join the MTRA trail crew this Saturday ( august 19th) to explore the "Lorax trails" and Nehumeag pond in Pittston!
The ride will start at 10 am and will be about a 3.5-hour ride, consisting of both private and public trails through woods and fields. We’ll be crossing over into the Lorax trails. Footing is primarily dirt and grass with some stones and gravel. There will be no public road riding or crossing. This is a great, safe ride for kids and beginners. Lunch will be at Nehumkeag Pond so pack your lunch, halter, and lead ropes. There are a few stream crossings and a bucket will be available at the pond during the lunch break to water horses. There is no water available at the trailer parking area so please bring what your horse will need for before and after the ride.
Parking is located at 60 Warren Rd Pittston ME (44.192326, -69.705201)
There is lots of space and they are all drive through parking spaces!
