Day 2 at our pet products show. We saw this last year and it’s now available at both our stores! It’s heath indicator litter for cats. But it’s distinctly different than those you see on tv! This one detects blood and glucose in urine. Others detect just ph which is not a good indicator of a problem. Think your kitty may have a problem? Ask us about this litter!

Yesterday was a very sad day for us at Dog Gone Holistic as our team said goodbye to Kahuna as he crossed the rainbow bridge. As many of you know Kahuna was one of our resident kitties at our FishHawk store location. He has been battling advanced kidney disease. He and Hana, both over 15 years old, have lived at the store since right after the store opened in May of 2008. Hana has been doing wonderful since her radiation treatment for her hyperthyroidism a couple years ago. Next time you are in the store, say hi to Hana. We’re sure she’s going to be a bit lonely.

New for our canine companions! Ya’ll need to see these super durable lick toys we just received. Our boys have been preoccupied with these for 3 days now. We got a sample from the maker and had to buy another! Plus, if you want, you can make your own treats for it using the available silicone treat tray!
