We are looking for animal lovers to join our foster family!

As a foster-based rescue, Eliannie is always in need of fosters to take in strays, surrenders, and kittens. We don't have a brick and mortar facility, meaning we cannot take in cats unless we have fosters available. Our capacity and ability to help is entirely dependent on available fosters willing to open their hearts and homes to animals in need.

If you are interested in fostering with Eliannie Animal Rescue, please use the below link to apply!
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/EAR/Cat

After submitting your application, you will receive a follow up from a volunteer. After your foster application is approved, we will work on getting your very first foster into your home! 🐱

New arrivals at Pet Supplies Plus in Ephrata - two golden-brown cinnamon rolls looking for their forever family! 🥐 Phil is very playful and food-motivated, and is a little more reserved around new people. Lil is more outgoing and confident.

Phil and Lil would love to be adopted as a pair so they can keep playing together - Phil, especially, needs to be with an outgoing cat to help boost his confidence.

Stop in and meet these cuties while they're in store!

Annie here!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who continues to support us year after year. We seriously could not do this without you.

As I reflect on the 2024 rescue season, I'm not going to lie, I feel as though I've failed. I am not saying this for sympathy, but I'm sure everyone's noticed things have slowed down and looked different. Our numbers were lower than they have ever been, we lost volunteers, and some things just did not go as planned. Personally, it was a hectic year. I had my baby last December, so we all knew I would need to slow down after having Lucy but it hit me hard. I am so grateful for the volunteers that stepped up to help when I and the rescue needed it so badly. We implemented some changes, which quite frankly just did not work. I think some of this is what caused us to lose volunteers, which in turn means less hands to help save animals. I've decided to turn things back and keep pushing in the direction we were headed - bigger and better so we can help as many animals as possible. If we are going to do this rescue thing, we are going to do it the best. Being a half-assed rescue helps no one. I know I needed a break, and I still cannot do it all myself. Rescue will always have an extremely important place in my heart, but I do have a family now, and a farm, and my collection of animals, and I know crazy, but I do have hobbies outside of animal rescue. All that being said, going into the 2025 rescue season, we will be opening up foster and volunteer applications again. We will share more information on these applications in the beginning of January as I want everyone to focus on the holidays right now instead of applications and admin work! As many of you know, I did move to a farm in Campbelltown. While this seemed like a challenge in the beginning, being so far from fosters and other resources, I've decided why not turn it into a blessing? Let's expand our foster range out this way and look at making connections with other rescues out this way.

Some things you can look forward to in 2025:
More foster homes = more cats we can save
A merch store
More communication
Keeping the cats at the top of all our decisions
Fundraising (we will be looking for volunteers for this)
And much more

Thank you all so much for the grace you've given over this year. The constant support is what will ultimately keep us going. Happy Holidays to all my animal-loving friends! 🐱

The holidays are brighter for Dexter and Ophelia, who were adopted together yesterday! We're so excited for these lovebugs to enjoy their cozy home with their new parents ☃️

Dexter and Ophelia were born in our care just a few days after their mother joined our rescue. It's been wonderful seeing these two grow up, and now they get to spend the rest of their lives together!

Hi everyone! Our foster mom is sharing some exciting updates in hopes of finding our forever home. The first exciting update is that our names have been changed from Sugar and Spice to Meeko and Maisey! Our foster mom felt we deserved new names with our new start. 🌞

Our first year of life hasn't always been easy, but it has created a strong bond between the two of us. Our foster mom has been working hard to help us overcome some of our quirks. We're still shy at first, especially Maisey, but we're learning to accept love. Maisey now greets everyone with soft meows, allows pets, and even lets herself be held briefly. She likes to play with balls, look out windows, and scratches on our cat scratcher. She still loves a good hiding spot, though. Meeko is very affectionate but doesn't like dogs trying to play with him. He loves rolling around on carpets and playing with balls. Our foster mom taught him a game that involves a trash bag and throwing balls for him to catch and find in the bag.

We get along with other cats, kids, and calm dogs. We need a quiet, patient home together where we can adjust to another change. Once settled, we'll become great friends. Until then, we will wait patiently for our perfect home. ❤️

MANNY'S STORY - This little guy showed up at a volunteer's house in August looking worse for wear. He was so skinny thar his ribs were showing and half his fur was missing. But despite his rough past, he was so grateful to be taken in and given a warm place to sleep. He quickly showed his foster mom that he has a gentle and sweet disposition.

We're thrilled to announce that Manny has found his forever home! We can't wait to see him bloom and thrive in his new family. 🏡❤️

“Stella's story is one of a cat we never gave up on that lived at the store for nearly 4 months til Sue and Jason came to rescue her. Saying" if we don't take her who will?? " and today she is able to be held, kissed on the nose and loved on while in the store we could barely touch her. ❤️ 💙 💜”

“Why I

Bandit was one of many placed in a car when their owners could no longer care for them due to being evicted. When I saw the pictures of 12 cats in a car I knew I needed to step in and offer help. Bandit was my third foster cat and he was the most laid back, easy going, loving boy. Despite his hardest moments it never changed who he was, which can be a message to all of us. Bandit now lives happily in New Jersey with his new family including a human sibling and two dog siblings.” Britni, Bandits foster momma

There’s only a couple hours yet of the with less than $1,000 left to reach our goal!

“Why I :

❤️ Corrine came into the rescue after her owner passed away. As an older cat, the sudden change was hard to cope with. Being able to foster, meant I was able to give her a safe space, and lots of love; letting her know, that just because she was older, didn’t mean she wasn’t worth it. With a little time and meeting her where she was at, Corrine blossomed at my house. And watching her go to her forever home, is why I keep going.” - Kelly & Nate, Corrine’s foster family

“I to help cats who have no other place to go. Alley was a senior cat who came into the rescue because his owner was no longer able to care for him. Seniors are hard to adopt out and it's even harder for black-furred cats. While he was with me he got lots of love and attention while we patiently waited for his furever family to find him. And they did -- I mean who couldn't resist this baby?” Nicole and Andrew, Alley’s foster family 💞
