It’s Meet The Team Tuesday!

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel & Grooming would like to introduce Hannah!

Hannah has been part of the Animal Haven Team since April of this year. She has been grooming and bathing dogs for 2 years and was previously working and learning the ropes at Pet Smart. Hannah’s abilities and creative passion illuminate in her work that she performs on the animals. She’s super-duper fantastic! We are so thankful to have her apart of our team and are so excited to see her blossom!

In her spare time away from work she enjoys going to concerts, going swimming, having beach days with friends, along with shopping with her friends. At home she thoroughly enjoys playing video games, watching tv, cooking and baking, and kicking back on the couch or in bed with her two cats, Smokey and Beef!

Hannah’s favorite parts about working here at Animal Haven includes getting to see all the animals everyday and being able to give them all the love and snuggles! She enjoys being with her coworkers and having fun with them everyday that she is here, her sense of humor is one of a kind. She is excited about expanding her grooming experience and potential with the help of Amber, our head groomer. She loves meeting with new clients and being able to help many dogs get clean and feel at the absolute best they can be! She is also happy to see her repeating clients and their pups come in to see her. Hannah loves everyone and all the animals! We love her so much!

We are all ecstatic and lucky to have someone as sweet as Hannah on our team to help allow animals to feel and look their best. The love she has and displays to all the animals is unmistakable. Her talent for grooming is growing every day that she is here with us, she does such a wonderful job. Her skills, her wholeheartedness, and her obliging efforts do not go unnoticed!

All of us at Animal Haven Pet Hotel & Grooming would like to shine a spotlight on “Bentley”
Bentley comes for Doggie Daycare and Grooming. He is always so excited and smiley to come see all of us girls here, and it makes all of us smile too!
Mady and Bentley love hanging out in the lobby together, watching to see who is coming and going. Bentley also enjoys hanging out in the office to grab a quick nap before playing with his friends. We adore and love him so much!

It’s Meet The Team Tuesday!

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel & Grooming would like to introduce Rachel!

Rachel has been part of the Animal Haven team since November of 2018 back when it was Minnesota Veterinary Associates. She started as a dog bather and helped with the boarding and daycare dogs. She then progressed to work as a technician assistant for a short time at the clinic, and then became the Pet Hotel manager. Rachel had the opportunity to start training under Amber to learn how to Groom. She now works part time as a Groomer and loves getting to know each pet! Rachel is one of a kind, and her heart and soul are in it for all the animals!

She enjoys horseback riding, going camping, kayaking, and just plainly being outdoors enjoying what nature has to offer! She loves spending time with her family, and she has a variety of animals of her own. She has a few ponies, 3 goats, 3 cats, and a dog! Rachel has grown up with all kinds of animals and always enjoys taking care of and loving each one in their own special and unique ways! She is beyond sweet and is such a nurturing person.

Rachel’s favorite part about being here is seeing all the different personalities of each pet, as well as the differences between each breed that comes in. She has enjoyed the amount of variety she has been able to experience over the years here at Animal Haven. She just loves getting to know each pet and their owners, and she enjoys all the new and familiar faces that come to her for Grooming!

We are very fortunate to have Rachel on our team and continue to show her love and continuous dedication to all the animals, clients, and employees here! Her natural talent to groom and care for each individual animal is apparent when the animals come to see her! She is hardworking and very compassionate, and she has the upmost care for the animals that she grooms! We love sweet Rachel.

It’s Meet The Team Tuesday!

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel & Grooming would like to introduce Amber!

Amber has been a part of the team for almost 5 years as a professional pet stylist (as our head Groomer.) She has been grooming cats and dogs for 17 years. She is a special, wonderful and kind woman who touches all the hearts of all the animals she works with. She is out of this world!

She has several dogs and is currently being mentored in showing Siberian Huskies. Showing is so fun for her even with the work that it entails. It is one of her favorite hobbies, and seeing the dogs enjoy that time out and, in the ring, makes her so happy. Amber also gardens and has a small hobby farm, including goats and chickens! Gardening brings her peace and watching the plants grow and produce is wonderful. She also enjoys sledding with her dogs in the wintertime, it’s the best time for everyone!

Amber loves seeing all the different dogs come into our salon. Getting to establish a relationship with each dog and client fills her with so much joy. Getting to make each pet as comfortable as possible and having time to let each of their personalities shine is one of her favorite things about grooming. Watching each dog transform, paying attention to the small details, and seeing them feel so good after a groom is rewarding. She loves seeing and getting to spend time with each one! Amber states, “Every dog is unique and loving, and getting to take care of your babies is an honor!”

We are so incredibly thankful and beyond lucky to have a lovely person like Amber on our team and run our grooming department. She is so talented in the work she performs on every animal. Her love, her smile, and her gentle soul are unmatchable.

It’s Meet The Team Tuesday!

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel would like to introduce Amber!

Amber has been apart of the team for almost 2 years coming up in November. She is an incredibly sweet girl to all who come to visit us at Animal Haven. She is an angel!

She is going to be a senior this year in high school and she is enjoying playing on her high school volleyball team. She is a coach for elementary and middle school volleyball and is also working as a C.N.A. Amber has an explosive love for all the animals that she encounters. She is a natural nurturer with a beaming smile and not to mention a great sense of humor! We are euphoric to have her on the team!

She loves going to all the school events and participating along with watching the sports her classmates and friends play in. She is so kind to all the people she meets, she very much so enjoys spending her spare time with her friends and family. She also likes to spend time outside in nature and soaking up the sun!

At work Amber loves getting to see all the different dogs and all their personalities. She also loves all her co-workers and the bonds she has built with one another. Amber’s smile and enthusiasm goes all out to clients, animals and co-workers! She loves to go outside with the dogs and play with them, capture happy moments they display, and she loves to snuggle with them inside the facility and outside in the yards! She sometimes gets creative and likes to dress them up and give them hugs!

We are over the moon to have Amber on the team! Her gentleness, compassion and consideration for everyone is crystal clear.

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel would like to introduce Kendall!

Kendall has been a part of the team for a little over 2 years, she is an extraordinary girl with a huge heart for all here at Animal Haven!

She has just recently graduated from high school this year and has plans to attend college in Detroit Lakes Tech for x-ray. She will be helping us when she can, and we are forever grateful for all her efforts. Kendall is meticulous with the work she performs, and her love she provides to all the animals is infinite. She is a rock star!

In Kendall’s spare time when she is not working, she enjoys spending time outside with family and friends. She enjoys participating in track and swimming, too. She loves to explore and is in her element visiting new places, let’s not forget going shopping, too! She is always happy to go home to her dog, Gus. He is exhilarated to be able to play with Kendall when she arrives from work or her other activities. They are best friends!

Kendall has an overwhelming desire to come to work and see all the cute pups that enter the facility. She is thrilled to go outside and interact with each one of them and show them some tender loving care. She is skilled at making sure each animal feels happy, safe, and loved. She loves them all and it is apparent that they love her too!

We are so delighted to have Kendall on the team! Her swiftness, faithfulness, and affection are always in full swing for all here at Animal Haven. We love sweet Kendall!

It’s Meet The Team Tuesday!

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel would like to introduce Lindsey!

Lindsey has been a part of the team for approximately 10 months here at Animal Haven. She is a hard working go getter, not to mention she loves all the fur babies!

She is a mom of two precious boys, and a stepdaughter who enjoys spending quality time with them going for nature walks and looking for agates. She enjoys relaxing and kicking back cuddling with her own animals Gus Gus and Mazie. They love taking cat naps with their mom!

Lindsey loves working with all the animals that come through the door every day she works. She loves getting to see their furry faces! She enjoys walking, playing and cuddling with the dogs that come for Daycare and Boarding! She makes sure she gives the cats special one on one attention when they come for Boarding.

Her love radiates to all the animals, and they love her right back.

We are all appreciative to have Lindsey on our team! She always knows how to put a smile on your face, super sweet, and she goes above and beyond!

It’s Meet The Team Tuesday!

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel would like to introduce Jennifer!

Jenn has had a prominent role here at Animal Haven for approximately 2 years, we don’t know what we would do without Jenn on our team! She is amazing.

She loves spending time with her husband, her 3 children, family and friends. We can’t forget she loves spending time with ALL her fur babies. Jenn loves being out and about near any body of water. She enjoys going for walks with her family, going camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and having family and friends over for grilling and campfires. She loves spending time in the warm weather, summer is her element! Meeting new people and visiting new places is also a large part of her enjoyment.

Jenn states, “I absolutely love my job! I love spending time with ALL the fur babies! Building relationships and trust with the animals and their owners. Taking care of all the animals. I have the best team that I could ask for to work with! Getting to spend time with each and everyone of the animals, playing ball, frisbee, walking with them, playing with them, etc. I am an animal lover through and through. I have had animals as long as I can remember. Each and everyone
of the fur babies that we care for have such different personalities and I love getting to know each and everyone of them. Each fur baby is so unique! I couldn’t ask for a better job!”

Her love for animals knows no bounds as she has a variety of species living with her in her house that she loves.

We are all super fortunate to have Jenn on the team! Her deep love, care, and diligence shines brightly!

It’s Meet The Team Tuesday!

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel would like to introduce Ava!

Through and through Ava has been a helping hand at Animal Haven for a little over 2 years, she is so sweet!

She recently graduated from high school in 2023 and she is currently attending college at the University of Mary to get her degree in Biology. Ava is persevering and always eager to help, since she is going to college in the spring and fall, she returns to Animal Haven to help in the winter and the summertime! We love her.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and doing outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, and gardening! Ava also loves to hang out with her cat Meatball, who “just likes sleeping and lounging around all day.”

Ava’s favorite part of working at Animal Haven is getting to see all the adorable animals each day and their amazing owners. She also loves bringing the dogs outside and running around the yards or playing fetch with them!

We are all blessed to have Ava on the team! Her genorosity, sinserity and dedication doesn’t go unnoticied.

We at Animal Haven Pet Hotel would like to introduce Mady!

Mady has been a huge part of the Animal Haven team for the past 2.5 years and she is wonderful!

She is a recent high school graduate with plans to attend college this fall for training to become a dental hygienist.
Mady is a hard worker and a vital member of the team, but in her spare time she relaxes by spending time with her friends, at the lake, shopping and enjoying nature.

Mady’s favorite thing about her job at Animal Haven is seeing all the unique personalities of the animals that come in. She loves playing with them, getting to know them and their pet parents.

We are all so grateful to have Mady on the team! Her sense of humor, kindness, and work ethic are contagious!

Miss Hazel came in on Tuesday for a Spaw day with Amber. Hazel always comes in so happy to see everyone and loves getting groomed. Some of Ambers favorite things about Hazel are her happiness, snuggles and her eye lashes! She would make any girl jealous for those lashes!

Firstly I would like to say thankyou to everyone of our clients for being patient with both Rachel and I (Amber) for the last year, we know it has been hard for some of you to get in thru the year, we have done our best to get you squeezed in where we could and I just thankyou for your patience. Also Thankyou to our clients who took our advise to schedule regularly! We appreciate you all and your pets! That being said the long search to help make it more convenient for our clients to get in for grooming has ended and a formal introduction will be given in the next couple of weeks. We do still ask if you are able to; reschedule for your next appointment. This way you can have your appointment as you want it and with your pets favorite groomer. We are always excited to see your babies everytime they walk thru the door and pledge to do our best all while keeping your pets coat, health and needs in the front.
