Here at MCAHS we pride ourselves in doing whatever we can for the animals at our facility and in our community.
We understand that times are tough and that sometimes a person feels their only option is to surrender their animals - that is where we hope to help.
Introducing - the “Free Will Donation Food Station” located in our lobby! We are able to provide a limited supply of dry food, dog diapers, leashes, canned food, and various other items. We want to help you keep your animals fed and in your home.
Supplies aren't consistent so it takes stopping in to see what we have available. But if you are struggling - let us help feed your furbabies!
Take what you need - give what you can!

MCAHS JULY 2024 ADOPTION EVENT
Our event was a HUGE success! From meeting our community, good food, garage sale, raffle prizes, and of course getting FIVE animals their forever homes!
Our staff said at the beginning - "If just ONE animal goes home all of this would have been worth it" - so to have 5 get homes was a dream come true!
Since our event we have had new sponsorships for our animals come up as well as more animals adopted just this last week! And great news we adopted over 10 animals this month thanks to the hard working team at the humane society, event and our wonderful sponsors!
We cannot thank our community enough for the support and can't wait to meet more of you soon! Look out for posts regarding our garage sale items still available - as well as other updates!

Acquainting you with our very own: Nintendo!!! Nintendo’s bothers, Ping and Pong, were adopted together recently and Nintendo is now anxiously waiting his turn to be chosen! Nintendo is a youngster with an overload of cuteness and striking coloring when you see him and it just gets better when he is active! He loves to play and yet is so gentle when he does. Born at the shelter on August 9, 2023, Nintendo is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH) grey tabby. He is six months of age, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
