It was obvious to my family I would grow up and care for animals. I started working at a vet clinic at the age of 15. I thoroughly loved my job, but needed to experience more. After working at the clinic for 5 years, I started my next journey in retail where I was educated on pet products, reptile, small mammal, and avian care, and created relationships within the industry. It was during my retai

l experience I became interested in dog grooming. I began a new job working at a dog daycare where there was a need for a groomer. I went though an apprenticeship with a local groomer and instantly fell in love with the care I was providing. The grooming process can be very invasive, but also enjoyable; making a dog feel comfortable and rewarded during the grooming process makes all the difference. Years later I'm rewarded everyday when my clients come back excited and compliant for their groom.
