One last word from staff:
It’s not good bye but see you later….
While you are leaving us as our boss, mentor, friend, and veterinarian we know it’s not forever. We will still have a piece of you with us, whether that is a skill you taught us, knowledge you provided us, a Marvinism we remember, a memory we will hold tight to or just the friendship you provided. As you leave and head out on the next phase of life remember all of the skills we taught you, the laughs we provided you, the many times we were picking on you but only with true kindness in our hearts, the knowledge you didn’t want but needed that we provided to you and the friendship you gained from each and every current and past employee here at Bellevue Animal Clinic.
I am grateful you took a chance on this “Yankee” from up north four years ago because I would not be where I am today if you had just passed by my resume. I have learned so much from working with you not only in veterinary medicine but in life. You don’t know it, but you teach many life lessons with your Marvinism’s as I am calling them now, and your wise words of wisdom come at just the right time to really make me stop and think.
We have been through our fair share of happiness, sadness, and being angry in the last four years and I thank you for all of that. I wouldn’t be the certified veterinary technician, practice manager or person I am today if I hadn’t gotten to experience all of that alongside you.
Thank you for everything, words cannot express my gratitude for the last four years. Your presence here at the clinic will be missed greatly but we will be able to carry on because of who you are as a boss, mentor, friend and veterinarian.
