Our focus is assisting animals and people who help animals in areas where Municipal services are not available. We receive no funding from the federal, state, or county governments, nor from any corporate entity. We are a network of volunteers who allow our rescued dogs and cats to live with us in foster care until they are adopted.

Zoe is a 5-year-old Lab/Rottie mix with a heart full of love and energy to share (Her tongue is even heart shaped). She’s been through a tough start in life, abandoned by her previous owner and left severely underweight. Thankfully, a kind neighbor began caring for her and reached out for help. Now, Zoe is thriving, gaining weight, and ready to find her forever home!

Zoe is:

• Good with other dogs: She’s social and has never shown aggression.
• Playful and active: Zoe’s favorite thing in the world is playing with a ball—she’ll happily do it all day if you let her!
• Well-trained: She’s potty trained, spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all her shots.
• A good listener: Zoe knows how to calm down when asked, but she’s happiest when she’s playing or spending time with her people.

Zoe’s Foster reports that she is the best behaved dog at the dog park when they go. Her behavior with cats is unknown.

Cleo, Lulu and 81 other amazing pets available for adoption!

Cleo is a beautiful 2-year-old Shepherd mix weighing in at 60 lbs of sweetness. A little shy at first, Cleo has a calm and easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around. Once she gets to know you, she truly shines—loyal, affectionate, and devoted to her humans. She gets along wonderfully with cats and children, and she especially enjoys her daily walks with her sister Lulu (who’s also looking for a forever home!). Cleo is crate-trained and actually finds comfort in her crate—it’s her little haven of peace and privacy.

Interested in Lulu? If you like to read for hours enjoy football games on TV, work from home, or cuddle on the sofa while you watch Sleepless in Seattle for the tenth time, then this dog might be your soul mate. And if you are like the person described above and already have a cat, Lulu is also good with that. Maybe you need to shed a pound or three? A nice walk with your loving girl Lulu is much more appealing than a treadmill. And Lulu would love to stop by a cafe hang out with your friends and enjoy a pupcup. Lulu is motivated to learn and trains easily, she loves everyone and needs a family to call her own. Lulu is two years old and weighs around 60 lbs.

She walks beautifully on a leash, is fully potty trained, and is comfortable in her kennel. Ruby also knows basic commands and absolutely loves going for car rides! Her rescuer describes her as extremely sweet and eager to connect with her family.

Sage and Carter, along with 85 other amazing pets, are available for adoption!

Meet Sage & Carter. Sage is about 5 months old and Carter is about one year old. Sage's journey has been one of healing and resilience, overcoming a burn with the help of her devoted brother, Carter. Sage is a sweet soul, a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly to show her friendly nature. Her bond with Carter is heartwarming, a testament to her loyalty and love. Sage currently weighs 7lbs.

Carter's energy is contagious, filling every room with a playful spirit. Carter's favorite pastime is playing with Sage. His sweetness is as irresistible as his cuddles. Carter's lively personality is balanced with his calm demeanor, making him the perfect companion for both fun-filled adventures and peaceful nights at home. Carter weighs 14 pounds, will require grooming, and is low shed!

We hope to adopt them out together, so applications for both will be given preference.
