Break and Milo, along with 58 other amazing pets are available for adoption!

These two sweet boys are looking for new homes after their elderly owner became unable to continue caring for them. They are both 2½ years old.

Break (16lbs) is the laid-back, easygoing one who simply wants to be close to his people and curl up for snuggles, while Milo (22lbs) is the more playful of the pair. Milo does well with children and other dogs.

Both boys will require regular grooming, so adopters should be prepared for that commitment.

We anticipate a high level of interest in these two, so if you apply to meet one of them, please be patient with us as we review applications. Our rescue is entirely volunteer-run, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Ellie and 61 others are needing help finding homes! Please Share!

ELLIE is as easygoing as they come. She and her sibling were found abandoned in a Target parking lot and were lucky enough to be taken in by a kind family. Ellie is an 8-month-old Mountain Cur mix weighing about 71 pounds, and she truly checks all the boxes. She gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and children, rides calmly in the car for any adventure, and is both house-trained and crate-trained. Ellie is the kind of dog who fits right in wherever she goes.

We have a ton of puppies available right now! Please view them all at ootwrescue.org!

These adorable puppies were born around November 14 and are now ready for adoption! We expect them to grow into medium-sized dogs, though we can’t say for certain. Each pup has a wonderful personality and is very social. They love playing with toys and romping around with their siblings.

All of the puppies in this litter are doing exceptionally well with their house manners. They are learning to use puppy pads but rarely need them, often choosing to wait for outdoor potty breaks on the grass instead—we are so proud of them! They are also comfortable with crate time and are doing great with that as well.

They have been wormed and have received their first puppy vaccination. Additional care will include follow-up vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, spay/neuter, microchipping, and rabies vaccination. We will work closely with each adoptive family to ensure all of this is completed.

Penny along with 53 other amazing pets are available for adoption!

Penny and her sister were spotted spending time at a busy intersection, which naturally had several of our rescue volunteers worried for their safety as they drove by. When we stopped, Penny came right up, clearly thrilled to see a friendly face! She’s incredibly sweet and loving and will make a wonderful companion. About 1 year old and around 55 pounds, Penny is ready to give endless love—and she’ll love you forever. 💛

HAYDEN is a 2 year-old, weighing in at 60 pounds of pure love and energy. This playful pup has a heart full of affection and a zest for life. She’s a high-energy girl who adores playtime—whether it’s a game of fetch with her human friends or romping around with other dogs. Hayden is housetrained and ready to thrive in a new home.

PRISCILLA is a sweet and loving lab mix looking for her forever home. She's about 2 years old and 50lbs. Priscilla is great with kids and other dogs, and she’s fully potty trained. Despite her gentle nature, she can be a bit shy and fearful of men due to past experiences.

GRIFFITH is a handsome 8-month old kitten with the best personality. He is always happy and finding something around the house to play with, but in the evening, Griffith is ready to setting down for some lap time.

SCOUT is a 1 year old, Labrador mix with a gentle heart. She is shy with new people, but with patience and kindness she will warm up. If you’re willing to help this sweet girl build confidence, she’ll return your love tenfold. Scout is ready for a calm, caring home where she can feel safe and continue to blossom.

SISSY SOPHIA is an adorable 10 month old Shepherd mix, weighing in at 45lbs. Sissy is crate and house trained and is working on leash training. She is an active girl and loves being outside watching the squirrels. Sissy would do well with other dogs or she could easily be an only dog.

QUINN is a 5-year-old calico beauty. This charming girl adores attention… when she’s ready for it. If she’s not in the mood, she’ll politely let you know with her signature gentle hiss. (It’s just her way of saying, “Not now, human.”) Despite her quirky habits, Quinn truly is a wonderful cat who brings joy to anyone who understands her unique style of affection. She can be slow to warm up to other pets, so she would thrive best in a home where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.

ALVIN is a beautiful 7 month old Catahoula Leopard/Labrador mix. He is loving, playful, good with other dogs, and ready to be your best friend.

DOTTY is an adorable 1 year old, 35lb, Beagle/Bluetick mix. She has puppy energy and a Blue Heeler mind. Which means she’d be an excellent adventure partner, ready to go anywhere and everywhere with you, and learn exactly what you want in a best friend. She tends to try to herd children, so best in a home with kids over 12.

STEWART is a playful, adorable 7-month-old pup weighing about 40 lbs. He absolutely loves playing fetch and will happily bring the ball back again and again as long as you keep throwing it. Completely house-trained, Stewart is ready to join a family that’s eager to play, have fun, and give him all the love and attention he’s excited to return.

SWEETY is a precious 3-year-old, 50-pound hound gal has a heart as big as her beautiful brown eyes. After lovingly raising her three adorable pups, Sweety is finally ready for her own happily-ever-after! Gentle, affectionate, and full of sweetness (just like her name!), Sweety can’t wait to find a forever family who will cherish her as much as she’ll adore them.

CLEO is a beautiful 2-3 year old Shepherd mix weighing in at 60 lbs of sweetness. A little shy at first, Cleo has a calm and easygoing nature that makes her a joy to be around. She gets along wonderfully with cats and children, and she especially enjoys her daily walks.

ZOE is a beautiful 7-8 year old Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler. She weighs around 96lbs. Zoe is full of love and energy and her favorite thing in the world is playing with a ball! She will play fetch for hours. Zoe is house trained and will do best in a home where she is the only dog.
