We will be closing tomorrow, Tuesday February 18th at 1pm. If your pet is scheduled for an appointment or procedure before noon, please come in as usual. We expect to be able to complete all procedures and appointments prior to 1pm.
We will likely be closed on Wednesday February 19th as well, but please follow our page for updates!

‼️IMPORTANT MICROCHIP INFORMATION -
The microchip company, Save ThIs Life, has sadly and suddenly closed. Their closure has made their microchips unregistered meaning if your pet gets lost, the scanned microchip number is NOT linked to your information, so that shelter/veterinary clinic cannot contact you.

The good news is that the microchip itself still works, so your pet doesn’t need a new chip. Rather you just need to re-register the number with your information to one of the following companies:
✅ HomeAgain (www.homeagain.com)
✅ PetLink (www.petlink.net)
✅ AKC Reunite (www.akcreunite.org)

If you are unsure if your pet has a Save This Life microchip, please contact the clinic! If we don’t have your pet’s chip number on file we can schedule the best time for you to bring your pets by and we will scan them to get that number.

**We use HomeAgain microchips at Cantrell Animal Clinic, so if your pet’s chip was placed at the clinic no further action is needed. However we are aware that several other clinics and spay/neuter programs in our area did use Save This Life.

Microchips save lives, so let’s make sure all our animals are chipped and registered!

We will call closure Thursday AM based on travel conditions. We will likely need to close Friday.

If you are scheduled to come either of these days, Thursday morning we will be reaching out to you! For now we aren’t taking any new appointments Friday as that is high likely closure.
