Struggling with snowy potty breaks? Here are smart solutions to keep your fur babies comfortable! 🐕

Create a mini potty zone by filling a kiddie pool with sod 🌱 Or try the tarp trick - place it where your pup usually goes, secure with rocks, and swap it out after each use!

While most dogs handle snow like champs, these hacks are perfect for senior pups and tiny pooches who prefer staying warm and dry! Save your floors and keep your furry friend happy! 🏠✨

The CARE office will be open until noon tomorrow and then we will close the rest of the day and all day on Friday. In anticipation of icy roads Saturday morning, the Saturday showing this weekend at Petsense in North Little Rock is also cancelled.

Thank you to everyone who stepped up to foster during the storm. It warms our hearts whenever our community steps up for our adoptable fur-babies!

Any time temperatures drop below freezing, it is imperative to bring animals indoors or into a garage, shed, barn, etc. However, if you absolutely cannot do so for whatever reason, please get started now on gathering the appropriate materials to create a warm and dry shelter.

Existing dog houses can be lined with straw (hay and blankets will not stay dry nor will they provide warmth when damp) and moved to point the opening away from the direction of the wind. DIY flaps can be made from materials such as tarps or towels. Food and water should be placed close to the shelter, but not inside as water can spill, freezing the inside of the shelter.

Brooklyn needs a short-term foster (Thursday night - Saturday night). She is a super friendly pup who loves to play fetch and go on walks. Due to her high energy and super wiggle-butt mentality, we do not recommend she play freely with small children as she may knock them over by accident. She gets along with other dogs, but due to her chase drive, we recommend no cats or other small animals like rabbits, etc. She is fully trained by Train My K9, but you need to use those commands as she is a super happy wiggle-butt ☺️. Kennel/crate and potty trained.

Let's Celebrate our first adoption of the year! Bo has found his forever home 🤩🥳🎉! We want to thank our volunteers and Mrs. Alice, who fostered Bo, for all the support and love they showed Bo while he was awaiting his forever Home. Bo has finally found that person to spend quiet days with, relaxing on the porch and playing in his yard.
We also want to Thank Subaru of Little Rock and Raising Cane's for supporting our program which helped give Bo and other dogs and cats like him a second chance at a loving life 🥰🐾 🦸🐾

🎄✨ The best Christmas miracle we could have asked for! After months of surgeries and physical therapy, our sweet Sugar is finally pain-free and spending her first Christmas with her forever family!

Your incredible generosity made this possible - every donation to Sugar's surgery fund helped give her a second chance at life. We especially want to thank Subaru of Little Rock for their amazing support of Sugar and so many other CARE animals this year!💙
