Today started no stirrups November and the tree decorating activity!!

And Camilla was the first to participate. She earned 3 ornaments today and successfully hung them on the tree!!

I can't wait to see how our little tree looks with more ornaments. So get your lessons scheduled so you can help decorate the tree!!

Remember that students all have their own special ornament to hang on the Christmas tree 🎄(and then take home) plus a gift 🎁 from the horses!!!

While I am asking about interest. Would anyone be interested in having photos 📷 done with the horses 🐎 and the Christmas tree 🎄 after the tree decorating event is complete??

We can dress 🎀 up the horses, and get your photo next to the tree. Either on their back or with you on the ground!!

If I get enough interest I MAY be able to come up with a professional photographer.

Date would be determined by photographer availability.

Cost will be determined by interest and photographer

Who would be interested in a "class" on ground work with horses??

What will we be learning?
*proper lunging.
*Proper and safe leading.
*Halter and showmanship patterns and tips.
*Proper and safe trailer loading and unloading.

How We learn!!
*There will be a demonstration of each activity and then each student will get to perform the activity under guidance.

What will it cost?
*Cost will be $30 per student.

When will this occur?
*This will be on a Saturday or Sunday. Duration would depend on the amount of participants.

Hey guys. The Halloween trail is now over🙁. There are workers in the woods removing trees. So whatever items the cows have not destroyed will be gathered tomorrow.

I hope those who braved the trail enjoyed it!! I still have treat bags for students that will be available until they are gone.

Don't forget about our "decorate the Christmas tree" activity that will start in November. I am looking forward to the holiday season (just not the cold) and even have student gifts wrapped and ready.

Starting in November (no stirrups November) and going into December we will have a new activity!!!

Decorate the Christmas Tree🎄

What is it:
students can earn ornaments, put their name on them, then hang them on the tree from horseback!!

Around December 20 students will get to take home the ornaments with their name that they successfully put on the tree!

How to earn ornaments:

*Show up for a lesson = 1 ornament
* Ride with no stirrups at a walk for 5 minutes = 1 ornament
* Ride with no stirrups at a jog for 3 minutes = 1 ornament
* Ride with no stirrups at a lope for 2 minutes = 2 ornaments
*Ride with the ba****ck pad at a walk = 1 ornament
*Ride with the ba****ck pad at a jog for 3 minutes = 2 ornaments
*Ride with the ba****ck pad at a lope for 2 minutes = 3 ornaments

All students will also receive a small gift 🎁 from Rascal and Austin!!!!!

So get ready for some no stirrups riding!!!!
