Back in September, we got word that the one and only, Kaylee Greer of Dog Breath Photography was coming to town and was seeking a shelter dog to take on The Greatest Adventure. So we applied and.... We were recently visited by our friends, Daisy Troop 66404! These young animal lovers really delivered. Not only did they bring loads of donations, but they spent time socializing with our resident cats and dogs, and learned about pet care commitment. We are so lucky to have such a supportive Village! 💜💜💜

We have said it before and we will say it again! Our Village is the best! So many people have recently provided so many thoughtful, and much needed, donations. Our friends at Aspen Grove did a HUGE drive during the holidays! The wonderful, Wag N' Wash Highlands Ranch, collected food and treats. And sisters, Lex & Aurora, stopped by with their class pet and some special items they so worked hard to collect. We are so lucky to have such a supportive community! ❤️

In observation of the New Year's Holiday, we will be open tomorrow, December 31st, from noon to 3 pm, and closed on January 1st. Our volunteers spent Christmas morning putting together meals for all the shelter residents, dogs and cats. And our furry friends LOVED every minute if it! We are so lucky for the kindness and loyalty this Village shows everyday, rain or shine. ❤️💚❤️💚

We have recently been blessed by a few local groups and would be remissed if we didn't send out a heartfelt thank you! Our friends at Wag N' Wash Highlands Ranch did a supply drive for us and collected some much needed bags of food and treats. Then our young friends from Denver Christian School came in and spent time learning about pet care and commitment. These students helped to socialize a group of wild, happy puppies. And last week, our amazing Sponsor and friends, Holmes Murphy & Associates, came in for a pack walk and work with some adorable puppies. One lucky volunteer even fell in and love and came back to adopt! What a love story! And what an incredible Village we have! 😍
