Kids are starting the summer off with a busy weekend puppies, track meet, softball, swimming!!! Pups are doing great, ready for forever homes. 2 males and a black female availible. Come hang out with these 3 and I am sure one of them will melt your heart.

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. Sorry we didn't make a post, the pups were keeping us bust, along with a softball tournament, track practices and work. Pups are 7 weeks today and transitioning to hard food. These guys aren't babies any more, they are officially done nursing. Parvo shots and vet exam schedules for Friday, look out Milbradt Veterinary Hospital here they come.

Good morning. Sorry for the short hiatus Pups, softball, track and life have been keeping us on our toes!!! Pups are coming up on 6 weeks. They have received their first worming, eating puppy food once a day and still nursing. Next week they will begin cut back on the nursing and eat puppy food twice a day. 2 male chocolates and 2 black females, pictured, are looking for the right forever homes. PM to come meet them.

These guys are feeling a little left out. After last weekend all their sisters, except one black female, have families lined up ready to take them home. This kids showed them some love and cuddled with them all night. Come meet these fellas.... and their sister!!!!

Girls, girls, girls, chocolate girls!!! Pups are 3.5 weeks old and energy levels are through the roof. They have figured out their legs, vocals and are cutting teeth. They are keeping Myla busy. Come out and meet these ladies and their 2 brothers and 2 black sisters.

Pups are 2 weeks old today!!! Definitely miss judged the basket photos.... only 4 of them fit in the basket. Their eyes are open, but they were too sleepy to open them up tonight for photos.

We have a busy weekend this weekend with softball and a track meet. But if you would like to come meet them we will do our best to set up a time.

Good morning from Myla and the pups. These guys are 1 week old and the puppy pile is growing by the day. As you can see they aren't morning pups, they are enjoying their heat lamp and love sleeping in!!!

Pups made their first visit to Milbradt Veterinary Hospital to visit Chris and the crew. Myla did not like their time away and is happy to have them back home!!!

Well we promised a Black/Chocolate litter early Spring...... Myla and Kylo came through on that promise.

April 10th Myla whelped 6 chocolate and 2 black AKC Labs. They are doing great, we will get better pics when they aren't so squirmy. They are scheduled for their first health appraisal and dew claws removal this Friday.

These ladies are ready for their new homes. Just in time for the holidays, it's always nice to be able to spend some extra time with your pup this time a year. Rain 3 day weekends are the best bonding time!!!

We have been busy here at HI Grade Retrievers, finding these girls their forever homes, spending sometime in the blind.

We try and donate a pup or two a year to local California Waterfowl Associations and Ducks Unlimited chapters. Last week one of our girls found her new family at the CWA dinner in Chico. Another pup will be making her way to the Sacramento CWA dinner this Thursday!!!

The girls are headed home to their new families. PM us to come meet them. Many of our families are unable to take their pups home before Thanksgiving, this isn't a problem we can hold you pup till you are ready to take them home.

Don't know about you guys but these pups are loving this change of weather. They cuddle underneath their heat lamp at night and enjoy the cooler temps during the day. These is a mellow litter.... until they hear that dinner bell!!! 5 weeks old, PM us and come meet them!

These pups really get spoiled when the nieces and nephews come over!!!

The morning breakfast rush, followed by some fresh milk from Lacy!!! This pups are ready to meet their future families today!!! PM us if you would like to come meet them. Ready to go home in 2 weeks.

Lacy blessed us with a pile of puppies, starting last night deep into the morning hours. Juan was standing by holding her paw the whole time! Mom and pups are going strong, chilling under the heat lamps and bonding. Juan and Daniel are on puppy duty this weekend, the rest of the crew will be out of town. These guys are going to be busy

Pheonix's pups got their first real meal today. First meal is always a special moment, so many new experiences are right around the corner for these pups. They are getting more time outside the whelping box and becoming much more independent. Pheonix appreciates the added food, they got quite the appetite and have been keeping her busy.

Another productive weekend, pups are getting matched up with some awesome families. Lacy is being used as a jungle gym, so is so patient with here pups! Couple females left

Morning routine. Lacy hops in the box with the pups to start the day off with a warm glass of milk at 530. 6 AM out the box they come to start their day. EARLY RISERS!!!

Breakfast is served!!!

These pups are early risers. 630 on the dot every morning they know it is breakfast time, and they can't wait! They are starting to wein off mom, nursing 2-3 times a day, and getting a little more puppy food each day.

Hope everyone is enjoying these April showers as much as the pups. This is what dinner time is looking like. Leah has been amazing and taking everything in stride.
