Another beautiful boy who needs a home🙏 Rocket(Rocky) is just a puppy about 1-2yrs old and very puppy like energy. He loves to run around, play and wrestle with you, he absolutely loves being petted and the moment you stop he looks at you and pounces waiting for you to continue 😆 Rocket loves all ppl he's met so far, he doesn't seem to mind other dogs he just wants to play with everyone, he loves to play tag, except your the one that's it all the time and have to chase him🤣 but once you sit down he's right there in your lap wanting petted 💙 Someone help this boy find a home for the holidays 🙏

Domino, poor boy, he's been here the longest, he's been here since the beginning of September💔💔 Domino is a neutered pitbull mix about 3yrs old, he loves kids, women but very picky with men..Domino loves to lounge around the yard but also loves to cuddle in the bed with his family 💙 He needs someone to get him out of these cages, he needs love and attention, he thinks he's a lap dog but doesn't understand he's 70lbs😆 Someone please help him, hes getting so use to being here, he's losing hope in finding a home, he thinks this is his home now💔😭

Look at this beautiful girl, still here full of energy wanting to be free and in a home for the holidays 🙏 Sheba is a 6-7 month old husky/Shepherd mix who is so full of love, and has soo much energy she loves to run and play all day🩷 She's good with kids, she hasnt bothered other dogs, but definitely needs a secured yard! Sheba is driving herself crazy being stuck in a kennel 24/7 she climbs and runs up the walls just wanting to be free💔 Please someone help this baby girl be free, and give her the love she deserves 🙏🙏

This sweet, hyper, young girl is also waiting for a home for the holidays 🙏❤️ She is very active, very energetic and needs someone who has experience with both shepherds and huskies as she's a mix of both. She is quite the escape artist if left unattended but loves everyone she's met🩷 She is about 6-7 months old. Please someone help get her out of the kennels, she's going crazy climbing the walls and doors all day just wanting to be free🥺🙏

Shes such a sweet baby once she warms up, she wants to follow me everywhere and be in my lap or me holding her🥹 She's got to be someone's baby bc she's healthy, she's actually not a puppy but about a yr old according to vet she is probably a small breed mix, possibly Boston terrier/daschund(she has a long body) she's a bit skittish and scared of new ppl at first but it didn't take her long to become my best friend 💕💕

She could use a foster though until owners are found or stray hold is up and she can be adopted🙏 She'd be best in a quieter home with no young kids, she doesn't seem to mind other dogs. She's scared and wants to be around someone and the shelter life isn't helping. She melts every time you touch her, and whines when you stop or put her down🥺 I know she was loved by someone🙏🙏

These 2 boys are the only dogs at the shelter. They could use fosters or rescue to get out of the shelter before storm hits🙏 without fosters/adopters or rescue, these two will be riding out the storm in crates in the cat building alone💔💔 Domino (white/blk) bulldog, nuetered, went to foster last storm and was good with the kids, the small dog and even the cat... foster states he had no major problems and done well in his crate. TJ was surrendered after the hurricane because his owner lost his home and was moving north and couldn't take TJ with him💔 TJ is about 9-10 months old lab/ Dane mix, current on rabies and other shots.. very sweet happy boy, owner states he's good with dogs and cats(he's afraid of cats). Okay my first day able to get up to the shelter, so far some damage to my new kennels outside and trees down but clean up starts today. The white small breed dog in the video has a microchip, working on getting that info but was brought in by pd this weekend found on Ohio St. The Catahoula was on the office porch this am, no chip, has choker chain collar and healthy (not the dog pd brought in from a wrecked car) #HurricaneHelene

Currently 7 pups( 3-6m old) and 10 dogs(one about to have pups any day) awaiting for someone to help get them out of these cages, they sit day after day, night after night no matter the weather in these kennels with hardly no interaction, no one to play with them, no one to let them cuddle on the couch, no one to let them run and play in the yard.. Trying to prepare for this storm that may come this way and may create allot of rain and flooding again💔💔 I'm currently full and calls keep coming in daily 😭 Please someone help, I've asked rescues but no one's able to help right now🙏🙏🙏 #rescueneeded #helpneeded #ittakesacommunity #shelterdog #saveanimals #ittakesavillage #shelter #animalshelter
