Good morning! Hard to believe it has been 2 weeks since this little lady came to stay with us. We may be breeders but even our breeder dogs live in our home as our pets. For a little girl that was raised as a breeder to living in a home she is doing amazing. She fits right in. All the dogs here befriended her like she was raised with them. The personality's of the pups that rocky and rain make will be amazing.

Steve and i were totally against litter boxes and potty trays in the house. Especially Steve lol. He felt that that didn't really house train your dog. Well if it wasn't for this invention we may of had to put Molly down already. She is going to be 15 in October and has dementia. She has forgotten to go outside to potty but we noticed she would go p*e on things that were randomly on the floor. Kyle had this potty patch for brenna when ahe was a very sick puppy and we took it back out. She mostly uses it and the pups have also taken to using it also. House training 3 puppies at the same time and then co owning a breeder frenchi that has mostly lived in a kennel situation have maybe 1 accident a day. I think I may use these instead of the pellets for my little puppies.

I just wanted to fill everyone in on what our plans are for our program. There will no longer be labradoodles. Lexi and buddy have both been fixed . We are now waiting on bindi to go into heat around November.so hopefully by the first of the year we may have our first litter of mini bullies. We are also co-owners of a blue and tan frenchi lady who is due to go into heat in September. So God willing we may have frenchi pups before Christmas.

I started making crockpot dog food to help my sensitive stomach, finicky eaters and nibble all day doggies on a schedule. Well this is how it went. Molly my 14 year old and buddy do cartwheels when they know their yummiest is coming. Bindi my finicky eater now cleans her dish and we'll rocky my sensitive stomach boy rarely has soft stools. Granted I still give the Littles half kibble and well buddy gets the crockpot food as a topper its well worth the time and effort. Today their food was made with duck and ground turkey. Rice and Veggies are squash, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach and carrots. This time I added blueberries.

So today this lady went to her new home. Her new friend is her son from her purelab litter. She will also get to play with her son from her first litter. I'm so happy. This way she will get more attention.

So this handsome boy went for his neuter today! Do you know how many poor buddies that I have heard in the last few weeks. Lol you don't hear that when you bring your female in. Smh! It's like he knew something was up she whine halfway there and then he shook like a leaf at the vets and had an accident. Found out he is not has big as I thought he only weighs 51 pounds. Can't wait for 2 o'clock to check in and see when we can pick him up.

This the the recipe that I used to make my homemade dog food.

3 lbs ground meat chicken, beef,turkey, venison whatever you wish

1 bag of frozen squash or sweet potato 10 oz or 1 1/4 cup

1 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots or a 12 oz bag

1 cup frozen spinach

1 1/2 cup white or brown rice

4 cups water or chicken or beef stock unsalted

Mix it all in the crockpot and cook on high for 3 1/2 to 4 hrs. Mine was done in 3 1/2

Cool completely before feeding. Use or freeze in for up to a week.

If used as a topper this is great but if solely used I would add sources of omega fatty acids for heart health and calcium.

So we tried something this week and it was a hit. Bindi is a fussy eater and I was having a hard time to get her to eat. My sister started making her dogs homemade dog food to use as a topper to encourage the dogs to eat. Plus with dogs with sensitive stomach it seems to be helpful. Well this mama made a batch and bindi is now clearing her bowl. So I have now incorporated it to buddy, molly, bean, bindi and Rockys food. Molly was loosing weight ( she is 14 1/4 with bad kidneys ) she is clearing her dish. I guess another batch will be In order. I did order a suppliment to add to it to fill In the missing nutrients they will be missing because I'll be going 50/50 with kibble.

Update on the pups! The little boy has found a home. His new daddy lost his wife of over 40 years just 2 months ago and is thinking he will help with his grief. 1 of the girls was reserved yesterday and in 2 weeks goes to her new home when her new family comes back from vacation. That leaves 1 little lady looking for a new couch.

These are the last 3 of lexi and buddies 1 and only litter. Buddy is getting neutered the 3rd of July and if lexis heat holds off she will be next. Although they made really nice pups Sweet beautiful and smart its way to much work and it cost alot to raise these pups. Even if we get the now price we are asking it will just cover the credit card that was used to make sure they had what they needed.We put alot of time and effort and love into these pups and it's a shame they haven't found there forever home!

After lots of thinking and and discussing Steve and i have decided that this will be lexi and buddies only litter. We thought that the silver gene and fading gene would be more desirable. That is not the case. We have posted the remaining 5 pups in multiple places and even though we have been told our prices are very reasonable and we do alot for our pups we have not moved another pup in weeks. We even cut our prices 50%. The amount of vet bills keep increasing and there will be no way we will break even with this litter. Buddy is going July 3 and praying lexis heat hold on so she can go 2 weeks later. If is sad because the temperaments on these beauties are amazing. Bindis paws will be going forward with the mini bullies . Which we are excited about. Bindi just went through her first heat and will hopefully be bred her next heat this winter. Now the designer mini bullies we are breeding for are the mix of boston terrier, pug and frenchi. The moms are buggs and daddy will be rocky our handsome lilac merle frenchi.

Rocky patiently waiting for the dr I Brought him for a recheck on a uti and he said nope I am holding the p*e hostage and I will scream like a baby when they try to take it from me.

The point of this story is If your puppy seems to be having a real hard time potty training have them checked for a uti. Every single 1 of my dogs have tested positive for a uti as pups and once those were addressed so much better with house breaking. Molly Sammie buddy lexi daisy rocky and i have not tested bindi and bean but I have been questioning bean. She uses her litter box but p*es frequently.

I received a video about 1 of the pups that left last week. I cannot believe how smart this Littles are. We definitely chose a nice pair for sweet smart adorable pups.
