Our little farm has added some new additions of Turkeys. We are excited to watch them grow🥰. The lavender colored ones are called Blue Slates and the smaller ones are Brown Broad Breasted. 🥰 Side note, these have been Tom’s request for years, well I have to admit they are cool little, soon to be big birds🤗

Been an exciting weekend on the Little Farm, the little Chickies decided to come out of their shells🥰. The black ones are the ones that we hatched, they are Black Cooper Marans, this is truly my favorite time of the year!!

It’s that’s time of the year, one that I enjoy most!! We will be starting the incubator up this weekend and placing some eggs. If all goes as it should we will have some Silkie (known for their cute fluffiness) chicks and Black Cooper Marans (known for their deep dark brown eggs) chicks available mid to end of April! If anyone is interested let me know so I can place you on the list since we can only hatch a certain amount at a time!🐓🐣🐥🐤🐔

Today they are 4 days old and already changing so much and beginning to actually look like little bunnies🥰 They are all doing well, but we continued to keep a close eye on all of them as they are growing. Between the two litters there are 8 that will be available. Thomas Artz

We have some exciting news here on our Little Farm, we have our first two baby Mini Lops born today with another litter also on it’s way!!! We are excited to watch them grow and will be keeping a close watch on them with lots of love along the way!! They will be here with us for at least 8 weeks, as always if anyone is interested message us, we will know more as they grow color wise and genders! Momma Lucy is doing great and made an awesome nest to keep them warm🤗 Thomas Artz

What a great surprise today given to us by our egg layers!! A Green Egg, by one of our Easter Eggers, now to see what other colors we will get from the remainder, they can lay green, blue, pink, or white…but once an Easter Egg hen lays the color, that is the color that hen will lay her entire egg laying lifespan🥰🐓🥚 Oh and so there is not misconceptions with different egg shell color, they are no different than a white egg to eat, they are just a fun addition of shell color to add to the egg crate🤗
