First night at Calamity's Hometown Classic Rodeo was fun! Make sure you go tonight! It was great to see so many local busniess as vendors 💚

Dr. Holbrook and some of her family had a great time participating in the 2024 The Big One two fly challenge for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Big Sky Country! It was a great day for fishing and it was wonderful to see so many people come together in support of such an impactful organization!

Mr. Wiley Colmey has lost 2lbs since he started his diet in February! This may not sound like a lot for five months but slow and steady wins the race. He’s definitely feeling better and has more energy!

Join us in saying congratulations to Dr. Balogh - she got accepted to pursue her dream to become a Veterinary Surgeon! We are sad to see her go, but excited for her future. Her last day at CVH will be May 23, we encourage you to wish her well.

We're excited to announce that Corbin, previously our Lead Veterinary Assistant, just passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) and will soon be a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)!

Corbin has been a pillar of CVH for the past 5 years and many of you know her quite well. This year she decided to take the VTNE and has become CVH's first LVT. We're very proud to have her as a member of our team and of all the hard work she put in to study for this exam. It involves questions covering a wide range of veterinary topics from pharmacology and toxicology to vaccines, dentistry and anesthesia. Congratulations, Corbin!

Our clinic cat, Wiley, has gained some weight over the last couple years and is now overweight. Thanks to Hill’s Pet Nutrition he's now on a diet! He started at 16.2 lbs and is now down to 15 lbs after a few weeks of eating the Feline Metabolic food for weight loss and maintenance! We still have a few more pounds to go so follow along for weight checks over the next few months to see Wiley's weight loss journey.

For sale or in search of local mechanic willing to work on it.

We have a 1994 Daihatsu mini truck. This thing is so cool but recently it started blowing a bunch of white smoke (probably a head gasket).

We do not have the time to fix it ourselves.

Happy to give a good deal to get this truck to a new home or work with a local shop to get it repaired.

Today is the day! Colmey Vet Hospital is officially under new ownership!

Dr. Colmey's new schedule will be 2 days per week, and Drs. Holbrook and Balogh will be available full time to help you and your critters with whatever you need.

We are open this week for urgent appointments and emergencies, and will resume normal business operations next week. We appreciate your understanding during this transition!

In observance of the holidays, CVH will be CLOSED on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

In celebration of our transition to new ownership, we will be seeing emergencies and urgent appointments only (no routine or wellness/vaccine appointments) from January 2 - 5, 2024. As much as possible, please get your pet food and medication refills ahead of time. We're very excited for this new chapter for CVH and appreciate your flexibility while our staff prepare for the continued opportunity to serve you!

We will resume business as usual on Monday, January 8th. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
