Guardian Angel Animal Rescue is in need of donations for our new rescue, Ducky. She is only 6 weeks old and came to us with an injury to her front leg. She was diagnosed with BP avulsion which is caused by some type of severe trauma. A brachial plexus avulsion occurs when the root of the nerve is completely separated from the spinal cord. This can cause severe pain. We need to raise donations as soon as possible. She is such a sweet little girl and deserves a beautiful loved life, but she needs the help of our supporters (Angels) to give her a chance at living a happy and pain free life. Here are ways you can donate:
Venmo me at @sandra-somersmezza,
mail to GAAR, P.O. Box 511309, Livonia, MI. 48151
or you can make a donation directly to the vet at the Five Mile Animal Hospital at 313-532-4440. If you choose to donate directly to the vet, please specify it is for Guardian Angel Animal Rescue's kitty, Ducky.
Our goal is $2,000. The surgery and other vet cost come to over $1000. But then there is the after care or for any complications that may occur. This is a tax deductible donation. The sooner we can raise her donations the faster we can get her on her way to recovery. Thank you from all of us here at GAAR and Ducky. BTW, the founders litte boy named her Ducky because she sounds like a duck when she cries and she really does. If you look closely in the video you can see her leg dragging. Please share and pray.❤️🩹🙏
This is Perry, my son brought him home from a camping trip. The cat hung out at his tent for 3 days, the day they were leaving Perry just sat there and watched them all pack up as if it were a routine for him, with him constantly being left behind. He was very thin and his tail and ears were black, not sure want caused the skin to turn black, maybe frostbite. I taught my son well, after they all packed up and ready for their 3 hour drive home, my son went and picked up Perry and told him it was his lucky day and he was not going to have to fight to survive ever again. Perry was a perfect gentleman and traveled all the way back to Michigan with no carrier and seemed to be very happy not to have been left behind especially with winter approaching. Today he finally is healthy enough to get his vaccines, blood test and microchipped. He makes himself right at home wherever he is, while winning the hearts of everyone he meets. Whoever adopts this baby will be one very lucky person because he is a very unique kitty. He actually hugs the dogs by putting both his paws around their necks. He will be at the Pet Expo this weekend and the Suburban Collection Showplace, if anyone would like to meet him. Guardian Angel Animal Rescue booth number 10.
