Mustache | 2 years old | neutered male

Mustache is a reserved cat. He is quite shy. He needs some time to warm up yet. If you take your time to sit with him and pet him you can earn his trust. He’s timid around some of the other cats as well. He’d do best in a house by himself or with another quiet cat.

It's been a whole year of cats and coffee! Can you believe it!? So, we hope you're ready for more! We of course have the cats, and Avenue Coffee of course has the coffee and other wonderful drinks and baked goods! We hope to see you there! 😸☕🐾✨

Pepper Jack | 9 months old | neutered male

Pepper Jack is a sweet boy! Not much spice to him like his name might suggest. He’s a little shy and timid but he’s fairly new here so with time he might come around. He came with several other cats, so he seems to do well with cats.

Reminder for all Clinton County TNR clients. Cats must be in live traps. Many have been upset and ask why? Veterinarians already have a workload each day, and unexpected emergencies. They’re generous enough to still make time to provide TNR for Clinton County. They have spent up to an hour catching a feral cat because it was placed into a dog kennel and they cannot safely “catch” the cat. Techs have been bit and scratched severely. A live trap provides a safe enclosure for easy access to properly and safely sedate for surgery where as a nice sofr carrier does not. TNR is also not for household pets, and showing up to TNR with name tags and bells on collars in regular cat carriers is not going to be accepted. The TNR program is now solely funded by the Clinton County SPCA and generous donors, and we need to respect the requests of our participating veterinarians, and be KIND to them to continue to allow TNR to run smoothly. If you complain about how many “stray cats” are outside now, it would be astronomical without a TNR program. Thank you for understanding. 🙏

There is a new update to the CCSPCA TNR vouchers. This program is for the control of the feral/stray cat population in our area, therefore all TNR patients need to be in a trap for the voucher to be accepted.

Per the CCSPCA we have the right to turn away any patients not in a live trap — this includes cats in hard or soft carriers.

🌸 PRIM🌸

Her eyes & ears speak on a whole different level 😅
Does this girl look familiar to you? She resembles “Bruiser” right? 😛 That would be because she is from a litter that bruiser created 🤦‍♀️ (thankfully no more of that), but prim finally fell into our hands and we’re happy to help her find a wonderful home best suitable for her! She is a little timid of new people, and overly active/jumpy dogs. She’s on the hyper side of dog life but with the right family can teach her that doing normal dog things is okay. Shes around 1 year old, and had previously lived with a cat but has not yet been around them in our care.

Starting at Noon on Saturday, March 15th, we will be offering specially priced tattoo flash for a good cause! 50% of all proceeds will be donated directly to the SPCA. Walk-ins Only, first come first served!

Meet Vinny (aka Pancake) This sweet boy was found tied to our shelter fence, left to fend for himself. Despite this heartbreaking start, Vinny is a good boy. He loves being around people and craves attention. When he's out in the play yard, he's happiest by your side, following you wherever you go. He does great on a leash, making him the perfect companion for walks. Vinny is Tiktok famous, but despite all the views he's received he is still waiting for his forever home! He needs a home without cats. Come meet him.
