Crossing Paths Animal Rescue We are a small group of volunteers who work to find good, loving ‘forever’ homes for as many homeless dogs as possible.

We are a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate in our mission of rescuing abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs and helping them find their forever loving homes! The dogs that we work with are abandoned and, otherwise, have very little hope of rescue. We have a large network of volunteers in Blount and Jefferson Counties, families who are willing to give these dogs a safe, temporary ho

me. The Yardley location in Bucks County, Pennsylvania serves as a satellite of Crossing Paths in Alabama. Our function is to bring awareness of the availability of these wonderful dogs to folks in PA and neighboring states and to facilitate adoptions in the Northeast where there is more demand for these highly adoptable dogs. Dogs which are adopted to people in the Northeast are transported every 2-3 weeks to various locations in Pennsylvania, and Maryland and stops along the way. Periodically, we sponsor adoption events at local pet stores for which we bring up dogs of various ages, sizes and breeds.

Meet Koda, a 1 year old Heeler mix! Koda has reached her mature weight of around 50 pounds, and she sports a short white and black ticked coat. Koda is a very sweet dog who came into our care with 6 tiny puppies that she was thrilled to nurture. She does great on a leash and enjoys going for walks. Koda is a very well mannered dog who loves attention. She is very loving and will follow you around wanting pets. Adopt Koda and let her fill your life with love! 🐾

Meet Monnie, a 1 1/2 year old Poodle! He wears a long curly white coat and now weighs 45 pounds, but still has a little filling in to do. Monnie came in very emaciated with mats all over him. He was very shy and fearful when he first arrived, but is now showing his wonderful personality to everyone! Monnie is a very playful and goofy dog, always running around jumping with a smile on his face. He does prefer to be the only dog in a household though, as he wants the spotlight on him. Adopt this sweet and silly boy and let him fill your life with love and laughter!

We had a pretty decent snow here in Alabama. Thanks to some very dedicated rescue workers, the dogs and pups are snug and warm. Show us your Southern dogs enjoying snow in your area.⛄️❄️🐾

Abby has been in rescue for 117 days! She is ready to join her new family. She loves playing with other dogs and people. Abby is super affectionate and playful. This girl was saved from euthanasia💓

Effie is growing up in rescue and we can’t seem to find out why she’s not been adopted! She is always so happy to meet new people or new dogs to play with. She enjoys cuddles and going for walks. Meet Dixon, a 2-year-old Retriever mix! He wears a long cream colored coat, and has two cute pointy ears, one that likes to flop over. His lower back has been shaved due to the severe matts pulling his skin upon rescue.. but his hair will grow back! Dixon now weighs 30-35 pounds but still has a little filling in to do. He is very friendly and does great with other dogs. Dixon is known for his playful personality, and loves making people laugh! Adopt Dixon and let him fill your life with love and laughter! 🐶❤️
