Okay folks we are a little less than a week out to start my “fun” of 1 of the 3 surgeries.! If you still haven’t reached out to me to get your back up massage therapist please do by Thursday as I have a few who are graciously accepting my clients while I’m recovering.! Please give them the up most respect by making sure your horses are in, brushed, dry, and ready. Also to remember their prices are their prices!

Today was tape kind of day. Tape in action!

Kinesiology taping can help so many attributes of the horse and rider! Today was a great example of the tape in action.

Why massage?

The physical manipulation of muscle tissue reduces pain and tension, allowing the horse to move with greater ease and fluidity. Massage also stimulates the release of endorphins which reduce the perception of pain. Since massage helps to keep muscles relaxed and supple, it lowers the risk of injury significantly.

Taping after massage can then further help with a horse’s recovery and the overall massage by stimulating the skin’s touch receptors for any residual swelling or pain. Taping can also help with circulation of the blood flow and lymphatic fluids, can also help support joint’s mobility and flexibility.

My wonderful girls got the whole works done today while waiting on the farrier. They started off with nice relaxing massages followed by the bemer, and red light therapy. Even Burt came along to assist and check out the work.

I have to say I’m very proud of my girls! We had a wonderful lesson today and both girls did great in their own way! Caberneigh has progressed with our slow and steady pace. Where we’ve been doing a lot of stuff to make sure she is comfortable wearing a saddle pad and surf single along with a bit at the walk, trot, canter! Though she wound up lame not even half way through our one direction (she needs shoes)

Daisy was a rockstar as normal. Though she was not thrilled with being put back to work. She was actually a pretty happy camper today. I cannot wait to see the vast improvement in all three of us over the next couple of months. I’m just happy I’m able to spend the time with them and working with someone who is giving me the confidence and knowledge to continue to keep us on the right track to success!

Any of my friends in need of a hay hut (hut is pending sale was asking $800 no damage or anything like that just my horses won’t eat out of it) and or a few other items? I have quite a few other odds and ends. Older dressage saddles, a few western saddles, some older jumping saddles need gone ASAP

Please Note:
If you’re running 30 minutes behind and you’re the 1st stop of the day, that pushes my whole appointments back by 30-45 minutes for the day. I do understand there are unforeseen circumstances & emergencies that can accrue, but please do not make this a habit for almost every time you are on the schedule. Thank you so much to those who are very understanding and patient with such cases.

So happy to see such a huge difference for this horse in just a couple of hours! The rider was amazing and once we put her stirrups up a hole (photo is before we did that) it all really came together nicely! Super excited to see them ride more ❤️❤️❤️

Joanna had a wonderful time doing a lot of saddle fittings from western trail riders to dressage to my jumpers and hunters. Of course had great helpers in the barn to make sure all the tools were secured. 😂 (Thanks Libby & Hannah) I think all in all it was quite a successful four day event and I feel everyone learned something to take away from the experience.
