5 years ago I started on a journey that changed my life forever. I never realized that one dog could turn into something so special. From the amazing people I’ve met, lifelong friendships made, the special memories, doors opened, that unspoken bond with a gun dog, hunting trips with friends…. the list goes on and on. Bo is my best bud, the best big brother too our boys, and has opened so many doors in my life. Thanks to for allowing me the opportunity to have such a special dog. -man

Rambo is a tough fella! 🐾🦆💪💪💪

Rambo update:

Rambo continues to impress me each day. Today they said his drainage improved over night and that he is eating dog food now. He enjoys cuddles and walking around ICU. Overall, they are optimistic about his recovery from his initial surgery.

However, this AM the Dr heard and could feel what they thought to be a heart murmur. This is a change as he has had a clear echo around 2 years old. They think it could have been related to his surgery bc he had his entire pericardial sac removed. They are worried about a possible infection brewing.

Rambo will be transported by Joe/I this evening to VT to continue his care. He will have a cardiology consult/echocardiogram tomorrow to get a definitive diagnosis and a treatment plan.

Overall, Rambo is an amazing boy!
