Happy New Year from Classy Critters!
We are so grateful to get to be a part of the care team for so many amazing furbabies!
While we have staved off raising our costs over the past two years as much as possible, our base groom prices are needing adjusted in order to continue providing services and the never ceasing goal of offering quality care. This increase is approximately 5% of what our existing clientele is familiar with paying and will take effect on February 1st, 2025.
Some examples of the price difference are as follows:
A $20 groom will now be $21 (+$1).
A $25 groom will now be $26 (+$1).
A $30 groom will now be $32 (+$2).
A $35 groom will now be $37 (+$2).
A $40 groom will now be $42 (+$2).
A $90 groom will now be $95 (+$5).

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and are looking forward to another year of serving our amazing clients and their incredible critters! 🐶🥰

All of us at Classy Critters wish our amazing clients a whimsically wonderful Christmas and Holiday break!!

We are closed from Wednesday, December 25th through Sunday, December 29th for family and festivities. We shall return for December 30th and 31st, however we shall be closed on Wednesday, January 1st for New Year’s Day. Our schedule shall resume as usual after the New Year.

Hello all! We hope everyone is keeping cozy and warm through the cooler weather and the holiday season!
We would like to take a moment to answer some questions related to our hours and potentially clear up any misconceptions related to our hours for pick up and drop off:
Our general hours of operation are 9am to 4pm. We strive to schedule where we can have all dogs finished as timely as possible and be going home by 4pm. While some exceptions can be made ahead of schedule between groomers and clients, please exercise not dropping off nor picking up outside of these hours in order for us to best serve you. Of course circumstances can and do arise on either end that can cause a hiccup or delay for either the shop or for the owner in which case communication and consideration is certainly encouraged for us both! However, we only ask that genuine intentions to respect the hours is practiced and not ultimately ignored; we will always strive to be considerate of our clients by practicing this as well.
Please ensure you have transportation for your pet(s) arranged to abide by our hours out of respect for our team members. In the event you need to request an exception, please discuss different arrangements before your appointment date with us; we are more than happy to aim to accommodate as best we can and truly appreciate the courtesy and consideration! 💕

Final update: all is fixed for the long run!! Thank you SST!!

Update: the phone line is working and hopefully will remain working. SST shall be replacing old hardware Friday in hopes that it will solve the issue from occurring again.

Unfortunately our shop phone line is down once again. SST has been informed. We will update once the line is restored. Our apologies for the inconvenience it may cause; it seems whenever we get rain or lightning the line gets whacked. May SST find the permanent solution asap!!!

Today is , a reminder that knowing how to save a life—especially our furry friends—can make all the difference. While having to administer CPR to your pet can be terrifying, being prepared can help you act calmly and confidently in an emergency.

Stay Calm:
1️⃣ Breathe: Take a few deep breaths to steady yourself. Focus on the feeling of the air filling your lungs.
2️⃣ Delegate: If there are bystanders, assign them tasks like finding the nearest emergency vet.
3️⃣ Focus: Keep your mind clear. Concentrate on the steps ahead and stay in the moment.

When to Start CPR:
🐾 Your pet isn’t responding
🐾 Your pet isn’t breathing
🐾 You can’t feel a heartbeat or pulse

How to Perform CPR:
Compressions:
❤️ Position your pet on their side.
❤️ Deliver 120 compressions per minute (2 per second).
❤️ For every 30 compressions, give 2 breaths.

Breaths:
❤️ Close your pet’s mouth and seal it with your fingers.
❤️ Cover their nose with your mouth and give 2 breaths—enough to make their chest rise.
❤️ Check for a heartbeat after 2 minutes. If there’s no pulse, continue.

When to Stop CPR:
🐾 Your pet starts breathing and responding
🐾 You reach the vet clinic and they take over
🐾 You can’t continue physically
🐾 Your pet starts breathing but is still unconscious

Recovery Position:
Place your pet’s head to the side, slightly tilting down (unless there’s head trauma).

Compression Techniques:
🐶 Medium to Large Dogs: Compress one third of the chest depth.
🐱 Small Dogs/Cats: Use your thumb and fingers for compression, or compress directly over the heart.
