Update!!! I've been steady getting both deer and some small game done. Currently working on November deer, should have them all done by the end of December. Deer that came in during December or after season went out will be done by the end of March.

Europeans are on hold temporarily as the beetle guy has moved and is currently working on finishing his house, but he will get back to the skulls as soon as he gets into his house.

JULY UPDATE--I have mounted all the October 2024 deer and have started on the November 2024 deer. The October deer still need finish work, so I will be making calls when they are done. I will also be working in some small game this month. I am waiting on a call back from the beetle guy, he was supposed to have some skulls ready by now.

June UPDATE. Out of nails again. I have a lot of deer finished waiting for pick up. I have 6 more to do finish work on this weekend. I have started mounting the 2024 season deer and have a few pieces of small game getting ready to mount. I should have a batch of european mounts to pick up in the next week or so.

I will be sending these nifty post cards out when mounts are finished as well as calling.

After a long weekend of finish work, these are ready to go home. Everyone with a finished piece has been called. I did leave a few messages, so if I didn't speak to you and you see your deer check your messages. The next batch of deer that I will be working on were brought in the week of Thanksgiving 2023, so getting there!

December update! Currently have 3 deer ready for paint and 3 deer just mounted this week. The rest of the deer on the floor are waiting for finish work. The forms on the floor are for the deer on the freezer. I have 12 November 2023 deer left to mount and 23 December 2023 deer to mount. These deer are all on time according to the estimate given last year, however, I prefer to have November deer done by the following muzzle loader season, which is usually not a problem. Hopefully I will be back to that schedule this year. As for this years deer, all the November deer are at the tannery. I don't know when the tannery will accept any more deer which is why the December deer are always 14 months out. I will be back to mounting 2023 small game after January 1 as well as the life size deer from last year.

Been getting a lot mounted. Will be doing finish work throughout the month, and should be able to resume mounting deer in December. Currently working on mid November deer, so on the verge of being caught up! Soft tans are back from the tannery, so things are moving right along. Any small game not finished by the end of December will be done by the end of February.

Been taking a few pictures, but haven't had a chance to post till now. Some of the animals pictured are not ready for pick up, some have already been picked up, and others are next in line for mounting. There is a handful of Europeans left, but overall the turnaround time was WAY better than the last couple of years. The forms for the 2023 season deer are on the way, the horns for those forms are on the pool table. Most of the small game from this season didn't come in until after the first of the year, so those will be quite a while, the small game that came in before Jan 2024 will be mounted over the summer.

The forms for the last batch of 2022 deer and deer dropped off in 2023 before the start of the 2023 season are in. The horns on the pool table are the last of 2022 and mid 2023. The deer mounted that are on the floor and the 2 floor pedestals are waiting for finish work, while all the mounted deer on the walls are ready for pick up. I called everyone last night, if I didn't speak to you I left a message. I will be starting on 2023 deer and small game about mid May. Europeans are still supposed to be completed by the end of May per the bug man.

Out of nails! There are finished deer on floor, catching up. I will be in this Saturday (April 6) from 12-4. Weekend hours will be getting scarce, but I will be in late on Tuesdays fairly regularly as well as other times during the week.
