We cant understand why these two girls have not gotten their very own home. Kendall and Katie are under 20 pounds, very sweet. They both get along fantastic with other dogs. They would love a lap to sit in! They are about 8 months old.

We would like to thank each and everyone of you for truly supporting us and donating to us over the past couple of months as we have had some rather high veterinarian bills for our babies. We truly could not do what we do without the help of generous human beings like you. in the almost 40 years that the pet assistance league has been an existence. We have always said it’s a network, Family and a team. Because it takes all of us we are truly grateful. Thank you.

Come meet Mae and all of her friends today from 12 to 4 pm at 3602 Lafayette Blvd.

Mae has the cutest smile and is so much fun! She is 1.5 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. Mae is great with other dogs and loves to play. Her favorite toys are tennis balls and squeaky toys. She has nice house manners and doesn’t make a peep in her crate. Mae also loves going for car rides and walks! Fill out an adoption survey and meet her soon!

Three of the others went to see Dr. Hart today. Poppy, the senior Pomeranian got a thorough check out and has a heart murmur, and we will just make her comfortable to live out her life. Keelan, 3 1/2 year-old cocker spaniel checked out had yucky ears but other than that pretty healthy. Our sweet muffin girl has two luxating patellas along with dirty ears and Lyme positive. These babies will be looking for a home.

Here is an update about two of the six Cockers that were taken in. This is BB and Bridget they went to the vet today. Got a rabies shot heartworm test eye tests overall exam BB has glaucoma and one of his eyes and dry eye in the other. Bridget has dry eye in both of her eyes one of the medicine is 71 bucks, these poor babies have been in a little bit of pain because dry eye is extremely painful. Let alone glaucoma. We’re not quite sure what we will do about the eye that has glaucoma because it is way too far gone.

These are two of the five dogs getting groomed today by K9 Styles by Amber. Amber and Lemaj are graciously donating the services to get these dogs groomed. They are located at 2571 Cowan Boulevard Fredericksburg Virginia. We thank you so much.

What a fantastic day for a yard sale. Our homeless babies made $803 today to go towards medical care of this Last Rescue we’ve done we can’t say thank you enough to the volunteers to help with these yard sales. It is a lot of work and the extreme dedication from these volunteers amazes me, thank you to my son-in-law James Peterson and my grandson for helping. We truly could not do this without the support from everyone.💜

Please share. We know the two black ones are gonna have eye inoculations. One of the buff Cocker has dry eye that medication is around $90. We are in for the long haul, we just need your help.

One of our wonderful wonderful humans is on her way back from Pennsylvania with seven dogs. Six of them being cocker spaniels and needing grooming, and medical care. Their owner died and this was the result. Yes, they are severely matted. They all need medical attention. Please do not leave a negative post. That’s not what this is about. It’s about helping the seven dogs finding their homes but we can’t do it without your help. This is gonna take a couple thousand dollars complete all of their vaccines, spay/neuters and getting them all shaved down please help if you can. Or you can directly donate from our website. RIP our Brutus. This guy has been a permanent PAL dog for 16 years. He was quite a character. He came back for biting and was very particular about who helped take care of him throughout his years. Definitely had limited friends. I will miss him. But we loved him💜

Our 10 month old Ryder it’s looking for his forever home. He’s an active young man, but is eager to please know some basic commands working on house training seems to get along great with other pets if interested please complete an application at PAL-Va.org
