Wow! What an amazing day yesterday! I feel so very lucky to have been asked to be a judge for the Junior North American Field Hunter Championships, it was such a difficult job because I feel like every one of the riders deserved a spot in the final today. Everyone was turned out so nicely, rode well, hunted well and was so polite! This makes my heart so happy for the future of fox hunting! Every one of these kids are fantastic and I am so very proud to have been a part of this competition, you are all truly winners!❤️Hunting in the foundation has always been a dream of mine since riding in the Southern Pines area and it did not disappoint! We had a great run and these kids kept right up behind Lincoln the whole time! Highlight of my day was getting my twinning picture with Betsy a long time and wonderful volunteer at Carolina Horse Park ❤️

Trails available onsite with lots of natural ditch crossings. Opportunities to travel to horse trials, shows and fox hunting are also available. Wow was Pennsylvania National Horse Show an incredible, whirlwind experience! Grey horse was his usual fabulous self except for one minor tack flaw when he got his tongue stuck over his bit in the appointment class. Instead of freaking out, he stood calmly and didn’t move until a very nice steward came over and helped get him unstuck. After a tack adjustment he was just fine and went on to 3rd in the hack and 2nd over fences, his best placing OF so far❤️ I had the best time showing with such amazing ladies and even got to meet Susan Oaks in person! The best part was hearing how much she loved Grey🤍 This caps off some huge riding goals for me this year. As a hunter kid growing up, I never thought I’d get to ride at places like Devon Horse Show Upperville C**t & Horse Show or Pennsylvania National Horse Show Thank you to all of my side saddle friends and supporters for making all my dreams come true! ❤️
