Tuesday 12/24 to Thursday 12/26 we will be closed.

Tuesday 12/31 we close at 12:00pm and we are closed all day Wednesday 1/1.

Good afternoon everyone! We all know about the devastation that has hit the NC mountains and surrounding areas. Please see the following picture. We will only be able to accept donations one day this week. On Wednesday October 2nd we will be collecting donations. Bailey Yow’s fiancé Hunter Dietz will be delivering to the areas that need supplies. If you can please stop in and let us know you’re here with a donation, we will let you know where to put the items. I will list some things I’ve seen that are needed but it is not limited to said items!

This sweet boy and his amazing foster mom are such a sweet duo! This is Nero. He has been with his foster mom over a year now. Recently he had to have a leg amputated! She has nursed him back to a happy kitty! I mean how many cats get to ride in a carrier with a collared shirt on?!?! We love this so much! ❤️🫶🏻

Wednesday Wisdom.. We have a lot of clients ask us how heartworms are transmitted. There is also a lot of confusion that if your dog is indoors most the time they can’t get heartworms. The truth is they are spread by mosquitoes and as we all know they can get in your house. This is why Dr Barker recommends staying on monthly heartworm prevention. The prevention also covers intestinal parasites.
