UPDATE:we got Willie to the ER vet this morning. He is a little fighter!! Willie had to have a blood transfusion to get him stabilized for surgery. We just heard from them a few minutes ago. Willie went into surgery and they found infected tissue from all the maggots that were in there. He also had a hematoma so they cleaned that up. He lost a lot of blood so he had to get another transfusion. But he was stable and doing good after surgery. We had to put $1,500 down for him and he has received no donations at all. We will not be able to help any other babies due to funds. So please give even if it’s $5, it all adds up.

This sad little nugget needs funds to pay for an emergency visit. Willie had his eye out on Tuesday. Over the past few days it started to swell. He was given anti inflammatory meds by our vet and the foster was icing it but over night the incision popped open. He need to be seen by the ER but we have not even raised enough money to cover all of his surgery yet. Our funds are critical low and we need your help! He still needs $200 for the surgery and right now $100-$200 to be seen at the ER vet. Please help get this little man all better. Pictures of the site in the comments. This little man is still Stanly County Animal Protective Services but we need to cover his bill.

This sweet kitten needs to have his eye removed ASAP! Willie was surrendered to the vet clinic for euthanasia. But once they saw how sweet this little guy was they knew they had to save him. We need to help Stanly County Animal Protective Services raise $600 to get his eye removed. There are a few ways to donate, PayPal, bring money by the shelter, mail a check to the shelter or call or go by Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital and tell them you want to donate to Stanly County Animal Protective Services for Willie’s eye removal. This sweetheart is Pretty Girl! She was seen by the vet today and she has a huge hernia. They need to get this fixed ASAP but need the funds to cover it. We want to say thank you to Giving With Grace Foundation. Thanks to them we were able to pay for 25 babies at Stanly County Animal Protective Services to be spayed and neutered so they can be adopted or rescued. This is a huge help for the shelter.

Someone has been practicing his ASPCA look! This big handsome guy is Harley. He is a 2 yr old Shar Pei mix. This big guy loves to cuddle and loves his humans. Harley is one of the sweetest we have ever met. He is the perfect dog. Great with other dogs, owner said he is house trained and good with kids. Black dogs get overlooked a lot in shelters and I don’t understand why! Most of them are not only sweet but they are super smart. If you would like to meet Harley please send us an email and we will set it up!

‼️🚨ADOPTED 🚨‼️

Rex needs an adopter or a rescue! He has been with us a long time and deserves his forever home. Rex was abandoned and left in an apartment with 2 other dogs to fin for themselves. They ended up busting out a window in order to survive. Rex is a sweetheart who does well with other dogs with proper introduction. Rex has been failed so many times by humans and we don’t want to fail him. We are starting to see a change in Rex and need to get out of the shelter environment asap. Please share and tag any rescues you know!

🚨‼️FUNDS NEEDED‼️🚨

Meet Aubrey! This precious little girl came into Stanly County Animal Protective Services last Wednesday by a very sweet and caring farmer. She had gotten up in a tractor without them knowing. When the worker started the tractor her arm was taken off. They immediately got in touch with the vet. They discussed pain, chances and quality of life. After checking her out good they soon realized this little lady was fighter and wanted to live. They got orders from the vet and started pain meds and then cleaned her up really well. The vet cleaned everything out and got the dead areas off on Thursday. They decided to wait until Tuesday 5/21 to do the surgery to remove the rest of the arm. Aubrey was strong but just not strong enough to have surgery so soon. So while the shelter is looking for a rescue they need to raise the funds to get this surgery done that will help her heal and let her enjoy the rest of life. So we asking that you please donate! If you can’t donate we completely understand. You can help Aubrey by sharing and praying.
