I shared this back in 2014 but it is worth sharing again today on Halloween.

A message from Buttons (we'll translate). "Today is Halloween and although I would love to eat some candy and chocolate, my parents tell me that it's bad for me. Since we don't always know what may be harmful to us we rely on you to care for us and keep us safe. If we should eat something bad for us then please call your veterinarian first, and if needed the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435." Thanks Buttons! We would also like to add that if you plan on taking your dog trick or treating with you today please be extra careful for candy that may have fallen on the ground, or other items from last night (shaving cream, etc.) that could possibly be harmful. Have fun and be safe! :)
