New week, new little faces hoping you’ll come visit and adopt!

Here is our beautiful Cleopatra - one of our 3 “Egyptian” puppies all healthy and ready to come home!

Cleopatra is a 5 month old Doberman Pinscher/ German Shepherd female. She wants nothing more than to be near you, getting lots of love and attention. She has a wonderful puppy personality and likes to play with toys. She knows how to sit and likes to fetch.

She is very interested in learning about life and needs a wonderful family to show her love and affection. Please come by and meet this amazing puppy! ❤️

We’re just a few days away from our fundraiser at Brickhouse Restaurant, and we still have a few tickets left if you’d like to join us, and support our mission at PALS Haven!

Our 5pm and 6pm seatings have sold out, but we do still have tickets available for our 4pm seating! Come and have an early dinner, then stay for a few drinks in their wonderful lounge, or head next door for a movie!

We will have tickets on sale up until 3:30 on Wednesday, but they can only be purchased at PALS Haven!

For those that have already purchased your tickets, thank you for your continued support! We can’t wait to break bread with you!

Our sweet boy Merlin the Magical Cat is ready to be adopted! This boy is SO loving and affectionate and can’t wait to come home with you to spread a little of his magic in your heart and home. He loves being pet and loved on but you have to be ok receiving a love bite or two so we don’t recommend he live with young kids just as a precaution 😉 he just gets really into his love 😂✨

He’s definitely best as an only animal but will be your bestie forever! If you’re a little lonely and need an easy companion, Merlin is your guy!

We took this adorable puppy in for safe keeping, just a little bit ago. 7-8 weeks old, Terrier mix?

She was found in the road near Cherokee & Tokay. An alert driver swerved to avoid hitting the pup, and stopped to get it out of the road, early in the morning. The pup is clean, and looks well taken care of.

Another gorgeous husky: MISSISSIPPI ❤️ I don’t know how it’s possible but we have another one up for adoption so snag her before she gets adopted!

Mississippi is a 2 year old female husky. She loves all people and other dogs she meets. She is respectful of everyone and her sweet kindness always shines through! She walks great on a leash, likes to lay in the kitty pool 😂, likes belly rubs, treats and fetch. Basically she’s a big sweet baby and can’t wait to be your bestie 🤷🏼‍♀️🥰

Huskies are such a highly desired breed and we got lucky enough to have a few at our Haven ready for their forever home!

Our sweet girl Juneau is a 1-1/2 yr old Husky/ Shepherd mix. This beautiful girl with her stunning coat and pretty eyes is very easygoing and obviously so stunning! She likes all people and other dogs she meets. She is a perfect mix of playfulness and cuddliness. You will fall in love when you meet her and spend time with her.

She is a favorite of our volunteers at the shelter. Come and meet this amazing girl looking for a family to love. ❤️

It’s pretty amazing how many beautiful dogs we have at the Haven right now! Here’s our sweet BO!

Bo is a 1-1/2 yr old male Frenchie/German Shepherd mix. Have you ever seen a Frenchie/German Shepherd mix?? He is so unique.

He likes to play fetch and loves to play with toys. He brings the fun and will brighten your day with his fun-loving personality! Come visit our sweet Bo and consider bringing him into your heart! ❤️

We are excited to announce our upcoming fundraiser at the Brickhouse Restaurant in Lodi!

Mark your calendars - our fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, July 31, with three seatings, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, and tickets are just $20 per person!

Tickets will go on sale this Wednesday (July 10), at PALS Haven!

Rusty is 1 year old terrier mix. He is athletic and brings the fun. He loves to play fetch and is a pure love bug.

He is good with children and other dogs. He is smart and will steal your heart! He is definitely a favorite among our volunteers ❤️❤️

We have so many beautiful animals waiting for adoption - you gotta check these babes out!

First up - GHOST! Ghost is a 5 year old husky, smiley big boy. He is smart and affectionate and loves people. He is very easygoing and likes belly rubs. He will steal your heart with his warm personality!

And let’s be honest, he might be kind of a camera hog 😉😂 that first pic is everything!

It’s kitten…and puppy? season!

OK, it really is kitten season, and while there is no “puppy season,” we sure have our hands full of kittens AND puppies right now!

We have over 25 kittens (not counting the 8 born at Haven on the 4th of July), and 13 puppies under 6 months, including the 4 adorable hound mix puppies pictured here! That’s a lot of little mouths to feed, which is our “humorous” way of saying…we need kitten and puppy food!

Our greatest needs right now are:

Purina Kitten Chow
Purina Kitten wet food
KMR - Kitten Milk Replacer

We will be closed tomorrow for the 4th of July, but will be open for meet and greets and adoptions during our normal business hours, 12:00pm to 4:00pm, on Friday and Saturday.

Tomorrow we’ll be celebrating Independence Day with friends, family, and our community, while enjoying good food, and fireworks!

But, while we may be celebrating, it’s important to remember that all of the activity, and noise, can be especially hard on our pets.

More pets are lost on the 4th of July than on any other day of the year, but these are some important steps you can take to help keep your pets safe.

It’s also important to keep in mind that we’re currently in the middle of a bit of a heat wave, and temperatures are expected to reach a high of 106* tomorrow, so tip #4 is important to get taken care of before it gets too hot for your dogs to safely walk or exercise!

Please share these tips with your friends and family!

We are so thankful to share the amazing news that all three of our Parvo-positive puppies have made full recoveries! They certainly had us worried, but we are so fortunate that we had access to the (fairly) new Parvovirus anti-body, and that it saved these sweet pups' lives!

Treatment for Parvo, along with aftercare, for all three of these puppies, was not inexpensive, and now we need to ask you, our extended community of animal supporters to help us cover the cost of this life saving treatment. We expect final costs to be between $4,000 and $5,000, so every dollar counts!
