Lots of first timers lately and we love it! Rex is just 6 months old and getting used to the fun of boarding early! A happy and sweet boy who made lots of doggy and people friends this past weekend. See you next time Rex!

Another new daycare trial this week with Tabasco. Not every dog breaks out of their shell the first visit, but with patience, understanding, and respecting what a dog needs rather than trying to force friendship the first day, we can accomplish something much more important... trust! Baby steps and subtle victories are just as rewarding as big ones. Tabasco isn't too keen on new people but he learned that we weren't going to push him to love us (yet 😊) but we weren't going to shy away from him either. We had a successful first day! Looking forward to many more and getting to see his true, happy personality in time.

Another first timer we met this week, Ace! Daycare trials are a great way for your pup to ease in to visiting the kennel. They're able to get comfortable, gain confidence and join in the fun before coming for an overnight stay. Ace settled right in even though he'd never stayed at a kennel before. We can't wait to have him stay with us!

One of the most rewarding parts of our job is gaining the trust of new visitors. One of today's new visitors, Lola, didn't take too much TLC to bring her out of her shell and realize the kennel can be a pretty fun place. Little successes like these make this job so worth it! See you soon Lola!
