WHEW! ADSP Disc Dog Tournament 4 was such a great day and we had a record 55 dogs compete! It warms my heart that disc is growing so much this year and we had 8 brand new people come out and join the fun. We could not do this without all the love, help and support of you disc crazy people and I can't wait for the next one on Sept 14! Thank you so much to Jonnee, Alicia, Riney and Tricia for making this fun sport happen in such an amazing setting! And HUGE love and hugs to all of the judges, set and breakdown helpers, registration help and a very special someone who always makes sure we also have cookies to hand out. And of course, thank you to our fantastic competitors! I hope you all are having as much fun as Jill and I are and we have 2 more competitions before we find out who will take the Championship trophies! Scores next!

Hello disc dog family, just so everyone is sure, check in on Saturday begins at 9 am, competitor meeting at 9:45 and the plastic flies at 10 am. Going to be a big turnout on a great field with awesome weather! Can't wait to see you all and thanks gobs to the many of you who pre registered.

Hello Disc Dog family! Hope everyone is doing well and ready for some more "fun with plastic" soon. I have a couple of updates for you. Pre reg is now open for the Aug 24 and the Sept 14 tournaments, so be sure to select the correct date. As of now check in begins at 9 and the fun begins at 10 am.
Please pre reg if you can. It saves us a ton of time and you $5. Pre reg for Aug 24 will ends on Wed Aug 21.

***NOTE*** We will finish our season with tournament 6 on Oct 12. After the tournament awards, we will crown our 2024 Divisional Champions! Remember, you must compete in at least 4 tournament to be eligible.

Thank you disc dog family for such a great event on Saturday! It was a blast and there were so many great moments! Just a few, but seeing Pat and Rocket just smash their rounds for the big win in Novice. Seeing our beloved manager, Jonnee and Vi debut in disc competition and Vi catching 4 out of 5 in her first round ever! And seeing Little Lucy make amazing catches. Laughing along with Sarah Wood's dog Oakes as he had the most fun ever! And cheering for Olivia Hsia's Joe as his little body launched into the air and also tied for 5th!
And there is one more moment I have to share. I was double checking scoresheets when I hear LOOSE DOG! As I stood up, people are chasing the dog and calling me to join them. I do, but as I am joining the chase, 2 thoughts enter my head. "Why am I chasing a loose dog when there are already 6 people in front of me", and 2nd, "why is the loose dog a person in a dog costume?" At the height of my confusion, Jill and Didi (who planned this whole thing) circle back to me and present me with the coolest Best Dog Dad Ever shirt and a signed birthday disc from my friends. I was so surprised and confused! It was a special moment that I will cherish and I'm still laughing when I think about it. Thank you so much to all who helped freak me out.
The tournament was great and we shall do it again on August 24th!
