Welcoming our newest member of our pack! "Dip" is the son of our older dog, Champ. Champ is an MH13 and is proven on the hunting field. Dip's mom is a SH and will get her MH title this year! We are so excited for this little guy and we can't wait to watch him grow.

Plaque Control works systemically through the vascular system (bloodstream) to prevent plaque from forming on the teeth. Real training takes time.
As a trainer, I can teach a dog to walk nicely on a leash in one day. But turning that into a reliable habit? That can take months. Anyone who claims they can fully train your dog, and make it stick, in just two weeks is really just taking your money.
Here’s the truth: Most trainers can make your dog look trained after two weeks. It’s not rocket science. And yes, the changes might seem impressive at first. But the reality is, those results usually don’t last.

So… you just got a new puppy—now what? No one really talks about the first steps to take after bringing a puppy home, let alone the steps that set you up for long-term success. The excitement is great, but once the novelty wears off, it’s easy to feel lost.

Here are some common questions new puppy owners ask:

What supplies or tools do I need?
Kennel: This is key for teaching structure and boundaries (e.g., sleeping at night or eating meals in the crate). Early boundary-setting fosters mutual respect and makes future training easier.
Durable leash and collar: Invest in an adjustable, chew-proof collar and a sturdy leash (I recommend leather or biothane). These tools will last and save you headaches down the road.
