STILL WAITING on our Sunny girl to show signs of labor. I can imagine she's getting impatient, too 🥴

Dogs pregnancies last an average of 63 days, but can vary from 57-68, typically.

They can show lots of signs of impending labor, like:

• Nesting behavior
• Restlessness
• Decreased appetite (a huge sign for our mommas is when they don't eat!)
• Decrease in basal body temperature
• Milk coming in
• Trying to find a secluded place
• Lots of picking
• Panting and/or shivering
• Hardened abdomen

She's definitely tired, so hopefully here soon we start seeing more signs 🤞🏼

ANY DAY NOW 🐾 Helping momma Sunny get re-used to the whelping box!

We made these helping boxes to fit our needs. They space underneath (to help puppies not get squished) can be adjusted as they grow, we can add another whelping box to the side, and we can replace pieces as needed.

It may not be the prettiest of whelping boxes, but it works 😂 Tell us when you think Sunny is going to have her puppies!!

It can be a hot topic! And there's tooooons of answers as to what you can feed your furry friends. So what's our answer?

Diamond Naturals!

Is it for every dog? Probably not!

Do we like it? Absolutely!

When researching what dog food we wanted to give our Myla, Sunny and Bronze, we found Dig Food Advisor. You can look up literally almost any brand, and they will give you a thorough breakdown of what they think each dog food should be rated based on nutrients, ingredients, and recipes.

This was so helpful for us! We found that our local Tractor Supply carried the one we wanted, and for 3 big dogs, we can't complain too much about the price! And they have 40lb bags!

We also give our litters Diamond Naturals Puppy Food. It has received a 5 star, and you can tell our pups are plump and full of life! We send each pup home with a transition bag of this puppy food.

When choosing your dog food, check the ingredients and nutrients profile! Find something that works for your puppy! You've got this 💪🏼

NO WORRIES, this was before she was pregnant! No squishing of puppies in this picture 😂

THIS is what we mean by family dog. They are part of the family! The show times, the play times, the fun times, the hard times. 🤍

When the kids play with the dogs, they've never shown any signs of being angry at them (annoyed, maybe 😂). If we can ever tell that the dogs aren't wanting to play, we tell the kids to stop. But most of the time, they are down to be snuggled and cuddled ALL DAY LONG 🫶
