Pawsitively Divine Grooming by Emily This page was created to show case my work and passion! So grateful to be fully booked — not taking new clients. 💛 I started my grooming career in 2003.

I was able work as a bather for several months and then was ready to attend PetSmart Grooming Academy. After interviews and applications, I was accepted into the program. I attended the Academy for 4 weeks and learned the basics of grooming included trim types and breed profiles. After PetSmart Grooming Academy I returned to my home store and prepared a portfolio over about 6 months. My requiremen

ts to complete my training included performing the 5 basic trim type technicals as well as 100 grooms of any type. It was quite a great learning experience. After being a PetStylist for about a year I was promoted to the Salon Leader. I then applied for and received a position where I became an Academy Instructor. This position allowed me to teach the PetSmart Grooming Academy to aspiring PetStylists. It has provided me with the ability to grow my skills as an instructor, a leader and a groomer. After 20 years at PetSmart, I have moved on to create my own grooming opportunities. Grooming dogs is truly my passion. I attended Utah State University and received my Bachelor’s Degree in 2007. I just couldn’t see myself not grooming dogs so I have used my degree to better my career. I enjoy learning all the new tips and tricks of my trade as well as sticking with traditional methods. I believe that it is important to treat every dog as I would my own. I can truly say that pets inspire me! My goal is to give them a safe, positive experience with a lot of love and fun too! Come see me today!

As soon as I put them in the tub, this is Lil Bodi’s go to position. He hops up on his sisters back. It must make him feel comfortable but it sure is funny and cute.

This dog cracks me up so much! Without a doubt when somebody gets something off the counter that they’re not supposed to he will tell us if he did it. It’s like he just can’t handle not telling on himself. How does he tell on himself? Well, he smiles!

disclaimer, please excuse my obnoxious laugh. It literally struck me as so funny that my last came out quite obnoxious.
