Olympia and Silver get the gold medal in being shy but that’s okay because once they get to know you, they are very sweet and snuggly.
They both would be great indoors or outdoors but would need some time to adjust.
Both are fixed, UTD on shots, microchipped, and feluk/fiv negative. Stop in tomorrow from 9 to noon to meet them and all the other cats ready for adoption!
Although Cooper enjoys it here, he constantly reminds us he is ready to find a forever home! Lol
Rescue work is hard sometimes. You meet them on what is probably the worst day of their life. Odds are their day started out wonderful because his human put a leash on him and he got to go for a ride! Then invited INDOORS!? Dad probably said common buddy, with tears in his eyes. I'm sure if Cooper could talk this is what he would have to share...
I got invited inside a building with other people when you normally have to wait in the vehicle when dad goes inside places! But I got to do all of these wonderful things with my best friend so it's the best day ever!!
And then he signs a piece of paper, and leaves... Without me.
I'm sure the first thought is oh he will be back. Probably just going to grab something out of the truck. Then it leaves too.
Don't get me wrong the humans in this building are nice and have treats and fun new things like shots? Whatever let's try out these cool new toys, and you get your own blanket and food dish! Sweet!! But I'm not staying my dad is coming to get me.
After a few days I'm sure he started to wonder what's going on. But you get 3 walks a day and food and treats so it can't be too bad right?
About a week or two into the stay, a new human family came and took me to their place! I must admit, I hate to be alone. When my other human left me they never came back. So, I will make sure if you leave I will get out and find you at no cost! Oh wait, is that chicken in the neighbors trash!? If they aren't going to finish it I will!!!
Turns out cops get invited to chicken parties too! And they invited me back to the building with the 3 walks a day place. Well, it's no couch but it will do. After all I'm still just waiting for my dad anyway.
But then my girls told me I needed to practice my maners every day, and we will find a NEW family! But they said it's very important to USE my manners. And something about school? I told my

Our adoptable kittens are ready for Meow-O-Ween!!
Hello loyal HCHS followers! Here is a quick Pupdate with our pal Madi the "Arby's" dog. She has made a lot of progress!
Comes to greet you in front of her kennel, wags her tail, still learning to walk on a leash, socializing a bit with new people and some dogs, eating and drinking in front of us, and can be silly at times.
She will soon be getting a bath, and almost ready to be fixed! So we are closer to her home visit every day. We are very proud of her, and as always thank you for all the continued support for Madi and for other animals in our community. ❤️
Taylor has her own adopted cat, and maybe you should too! Call or message us to set up a time to come meet all our kitties still waiting for homes! All are fixed, UTD on shots, and microchipped!

Who needs a little energizer bunny in their life?
Maggie would love to go on runs with you, play fetch in the park, or go on a hike. She is very smart and will pick up on commands fast. She will need some help on her manners as she does not get along well with other dogs or small kids.
Maggie is 9 months old, fixed, up to date on shots, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Call or message us if you think she would be a good fit for you.
