The Pet Orphanage is sponsoring a cat spay/neuter clinic for August. Please pre-register and pre-pay (cash only) on Saturday, August 10th, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Hocking County Fairgrounds near the Soil and Water and OSU Extension offices. Please arrive early as spaces are limited and are first come, first served. There will be a limit of two cats per person - $80/female and $50/male (which includes the Rabies vaccine). Cats must weigh at least 3 1/2 pounds to be fixed.



The cat clinic will be held on Saturday, August 24th .

Harley is a large black and white Tuxedo cat who escaped while on vacation from 62819 Woodgeard Rd, Creola, Vinton County, Ohio. He’s afraid of everything and everyone except me. We live 2 1/2 hours away, but have traveled back to Creola multiple times trying to find him. He’s like my child - we are extremely close. I’m heartbroken. Please let me know if you see him. We are offering a $200.00 Reward for his capture. We will travel to pick him up after we receive recent photos of him, and pay the reward.

The Pet Orphanage is sponsoring two cat spay/neuter clinics for July. The registration will be on Saturday, July 6, from 9:30-11:00 am at the Hocking County Fairgrounds near the Soil and Water and OSU Extension offices.

First come, first served. Limit of two cats per registration unless extra spaces are available. Cost: $80 for Females and $50 for Males (price includes required rabies vaccination).

The clinics are scheduled on Sunday, July 14 and Sunday, July 21.

The Pet Orphanage has published its 2024 Cat low-cost spay/neuter clinic schedule on our website(thepetorphanage.org). Please click on “Cat Spay/Neuter” in the menu for the schedule, prices and other information. New for 2024: a $15 rabies vaccination is now required unless the owner has evidence (from a vet) that the cat already has a current vaccination. Female spay price is now $80 and male neuters are $50. Prices are set by the vet service, not The Pet Orphanage. Each cat must arrive in its own carrier. Cats do not need to attend registration!

Thank you to the 107 households that have chosen us as their charity through Kroger Rewards. We recieved a check for $523.46 for the months of August-October. This amount will help us assist 26 animals in getting fixed.

To register you go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com and sign up with your kroger plus card, choosing The Pet Orphanage as your group. Kroger then donates everytime you swipe your card to us. It costs you nothing.
