Hocking County Humane Society Holiday Hours 2025.

In observation of the upcoming holiday season, we are changing it up this year. To allow employees time to spend with their families starting Wednesday December 24, 2025, through Sunday January 4, 2026, The Shelter will be by appointment only. Please call 740-380-9109 to schedule an appointment during this time frame. We will resume regular hours on Monday January 5, 2026. Happy Holidays.

As law enforcement, we have very few laws that we can enforce regarding the weather. As human beings, we can do the right thing. Please bring outside animals inside or at the very least, provide adequate shelter with dry straw. Keep water fresh, it will freeze very quickly. Plenty of food. Kaiser would be extremely thankful if he got his own family. He is about a year old and his buddies have been adopted and now he is waiting patiently for his turn. He is friendly and playful and gets along with other dogs. He is neutered and has had his first shots. Best of all, if youโ€™re a good fit for Kaiser, his adoption fee is sponsored. We want to see a great match and make this guyโ€™s holiday wish come true!
