🐾NIKO needs a new home -
(his Siberian Husky sis is in need of a new home too).

NIKO 🐾 is a 4yr. old M Samoyed/ Siberian Husky mix. Neutered, UTD on vaccinations, house-trained , 80lbs of pure love and fluff.
Currently located in the SLC area of Utah. Unfortunately, his mom and dad have had to make the difficult decision of rehoming him.
He loves car rides, children of all ages, well, loves being outside and even enjoys indoor couch snuggles. Not cat friendly. NIKO loves other dogs but has been know to be a bit rough(not aggressive) with smaller dogs. He’s good on a leash and his mom says he’s a very good listener. He was crate trained but had not been secured in a crate for over a year.
Fenced yard is preferred. Let’s help this sweet chill boy a forever home.
There is a rehoming fee to assure he’s going to a good responsible, breed knowledgeable home . He and his sibling Siberian husky sis.
He’s loved and cared for and a real happy boy. Out of state interest is possible- we can/ will help to transport this beautiful boy to a committed new approved home.

This year has been incredibly overwhelming. We have received, taken in, assisted owners with needs, and adopted/placed many into forever loving homes.

To list a few: a mom with two 5-week-old puppies left behind in an abandoned apartment; four young puppy mill Samoyeds; a breeder-surrendered female with three of her remaining pups; two Samoyeds from China who finally arrived in the USA after waiting two years to legally enter. We also had two previous adopters pass away, leaving their beloved Sam's once again in our care. Additionally, we had two beautiful females who lost their mom to illness. We have also taken in more rescues with medical needs, which have required significant financial assistance.

Forty-three Samoyeds have been successfully adopted so far this year, and we are currently working on three more Samoyed rescues now ready and waiting. We hope to have them delivered and living in their new homes by Christmas.

This would not be possible without the support from many friends and followers. Ynot Save A Sam Rescue is an all-volunteer 501c3 Samoyed breed rescue organization. Our operating expenses, including vet care, food, and transport, have increased significantly. We rely heavily on donations to continue our rescue efforts.

Our Sammy Rescue November Update- ***************************************

NIKO (was Nikolas) our 14 month old, owner surrender, neutered, beautiful smart happy squirrel obsessed lil’ man. Now lives in the Portland, Oregon area w/ a mom who loves her new best friend so much.
CASPER - a mighty handsome boy who was raised in a preschool environment for the first 2 years of his life. He definitely was a bit overwhelmed to be introduced to a pack of Sams upon his arrival but Casper was quick to make friends, loves playing w/ tug toys and was amazing to walk on a leash. His new home is in the beautiful state of Washington where he’s living happily ever after with his new best Friend Sam-brother and an older Pomeranian that keeps both of them in line.
SUMMER (was Shelby) a 9 month old Samoyed rescue pup who came into our rescue 4/24. This sassy spunky wee lil’ Sammy now makes her home in BC Canada. She is loved and adored by her new mom & dad. Her human grandfather who spends most days with her is very excited for Puppy Kindergarten to begin hoping she’ll soon become a sweet obedient girl.
Shhhh! Let’s not spoil it yet.
KAMIKAZE-Ozzie a young, owner surrendered M Samoyed. He’s a large n’ lovable boy who when he’s not out for morning runs or afternoon adventures in the neighboring mtn actually enjoys laying around watching TV and getting cuddles. We are very happy for him.
BELLA- a 5 yr old female Y-not China Rescue Samoyed who was actually adopted 6/2019. Unfortunately her owner passed away in late October. She spent a few weeks with a family friend being fostered while we reviewed applications. We fortunately had a past adopter (not living too faraway) who was waiting / wanting another Samoyed companion. Bella now lives in So. Idaho with an older Samoyed brother and a family who really loves her.
BEAU - young male Samoyed. He is one of the 4 PA PuppyMill Samoyeds which arrived in SLC, UT . in early August has been ADOPTED. He’s been in a foster home in the N. Utah area since he arrived. His new family drove down from Great Falls, MT. to Utah last weekend and picked him up. He was able to spend the Thanksgiving week getting to know his new family. All is going well.
MISHA - ADOPTED He’s now living in Palm Springs, CA. Adjusting and living with his new doggy siblings. He’ll soon be starting Puppy Kindergarten w/ his new Dad who is excited to accompany him. MISHA has also become very close and attentive to his senior Golden Retriever brother, Trevor.

SAMMI - a female China Rescue Samoyed (previously adopted 7/2018) her owner recently passed away and she too is on a 2nd week foster to adopt trial.
NADIA - a 2 yr old F Breeder surrender, also was the mom to the 3 male pups picked up 4 weeks ago. NADIA was recently spayed and has been staying in a great foster home where she’s received lots of love and attention and been able to gain some weight and recover from becoming a puppy mama this past July. She’s now out on a trial ADOPTION and is really enjoying her new home.
MEILA - F Samoyed- another PA Puppy Mill Samoyed currently w/a SLC area foster family. Scheduled for soay later this month.

Currently we have 6 Samoyeds in foster homes not yet ready for adoption placement.

-We are also providing medical assistance (cost of insulin and diet) for 2 Samoyeds which we are working on keeping with their owners.
-Also 2 Samoyeds currently with owners who are wanted ( have requested) surrender but currently do not have an open foster home and/or the availability to transport.
* 5 yr old unaltered M Samoyed ***with a bite history*** currently located in North Dakota.
* 7 yr old unaltered M Samoyed - no others male dogs can live in the house & any female must be submissive. Currently with owner in Boise, Idaho area. (please message this page if you’re interested in any further information regarding these 2 males, including who to contact.)

This year has been an extremely difficult and challenging year- especially with so many Sam’s here in the USA in need.

We currently are not accepting any new adoption applications. We have many applicants who have been waiting to adopt and we feel as if we can match the current available Samoyed rescues to the applicants already on file.

Die drei Samojeden Welpen sind Opfer des illegalen Welpenhandels. Sie sind jetzt 17 Wochen alt und suchen getrennt voneinander das passende Zuhause bei Hunde- gerne auch Rasse erfahrenen Menschen ❤️

Welpentypisch sind sie lieb und verspielt, kennen aber leider noch nicht wirklich viel. Sie sind nicht stubenrein und müssen noch alles lernen, was ein Hund lernen sollte.

Ihr wollt die Drei kennenlernen?

🐾OLAF 2yr old Male Samoyed AVAILABLE-
He is currently in Sioux Falls, So. Dakota. Up to date on vaccines, neutered, housetrained, does have separation anxiety and would probably be best at this time as the old dog. This dog does not belong to our organization he was being given away and a caring / concerned past Samoyed owner felt it best to at-least remove him from where is was currently living. OLAF is in a home where he’s not doing well with the owners female Husky.

We can share his current owners contact info through PM thread if you would like more information regarding OLAF or POSSIBLY GIVING OLAF a HOME.

-Current Owner notes-
*OLAF goes to his crate but doesn’t enjoy it. Was previously kept in a garage. He rides well in cars. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines-they sent the vet records. I don’t know about cats? He was a only dog when I got him. He is very sweet and still a puppy. He is good with children that I have seen. Needs some training on the leash but after a few walks he’s already getting better. Loves people and wants to be where they are it seems. He does want to hump my dog so I have been tethering him some to see if that helps with the “humping” issues and my dog. The neighborhood girls love on him and stop just to see him and get cuddles. Was recently groomed and bathed by me because he was very dirty and matted and needed to be cleaned up. But I’m not a groomer by any means and I have scheduled a grooming appt for him on the 1st of November with our groomer or a cancellation if sooner. The originally owner said their groomer shaved some spots you can currently see that there are some short spots.

NEWLY ARRIVED🐾 -
WELCOME 4 new Ynot Sam Rescue arrivals-
3 M 12 week old pups
1 F 2yr old - mother to the 3 pups.
Owner Surrenders- all her other pups were sold before owner reached out to surrender.
NADIA - (mom) will be available after she’s received another vet exam and spayed as per our veterinarian recommendation.
All 3 male PUPPIES are scheduled for their last round of puppy vaccinations and rabies on 04 November. Currently with the amount of Samoyed rescues coming into our rescue organization we will allow our males early placement to approved applicants w/ a neuter agreement. More info to come.
Thank you for the incredible HELP received from a friend/ follower at the airport where surrendered pick-up was arranged of these 4 Samoyeds so they they could be transported to our home based location in N. Utah. Alaska Airlines of course for safely transporting our Rescues. Thank you to another Ynot supporter and followerTamara for helping upon arrival at the SLC airport- we really appreciated all our wonderful supporters.
We did not arrive in Logan, Utah until late yesterday afternoon / evening but we’re able to get all in for much needed baths this morning. Thank you to Cache Meadow Grooming for fitting everyone in.
* Mom does have some incredible lineage, good size -52lbs and is also pure white.
All past medical history would be available to her adopter upon placement.
