On Paddy's Watch On Paddy's Watch was started because of the love we have for cats.Our Mission statement is simple: to help make life better for cats.

We accomplish this through TNR, maintaining our community cats and socializing those acceptable for adoption.

I didn't get to post yesterday as i was so busy trying to play catch up due to the weather, as I'm sure many were.The temps weren't to bad in tge afternoon and the tarps I put out Friday night held and kept things pretty dry.I will definitely invest in more.Hope everyone is having a safe and warm weekend.Please pray for all the animals and humans who endure these temperatures.

Update on Sammy: Our sweet boy didn't make it, he is forever sleeping.He was too sick and needed the rest.This could all have been avoided if the woman who had him on her property didn't move and leave him and others all alone.I bet she won't lose a wink of sleep.We will miss you sweet Samuel.Forever in our hearts.

So I posted under my name by mistake last night.This is Sammy, a dumped but beautiful sweet cat living in a colony now but he isn't feeling well at all.I have to send him to Summit Chase via a good friend and helper Melissa but I just paid out $577.11 to Baranik for two ferrals to be fully vetted and my pockets are empty.I have never asked before but if you can help out, even $5.00, probably less than the cost of that fancy coffee it would help us greatly .I am old school so I don't do Venmo or PayPal or anything like that but you could send it directly to Summit Chase Veterinary Hospital in Loganville.Sammy and I both thank you.Stay warm out there, right!

This picture is Mattie.She just showed up ,aka dumped, at one of my feeding colonies a few months back.You know she lived outdoors with someone because when I run the kitchen water she comes running to drink from it as it was an outside hose or spicket.She also climbs right up to my face and put her paws on my face, I was a little frieked at first.

So already I missed a day but yesterday was crazy.Duluth at 7:30 am to Loganville to crank my bus to Atlanta to see my newest family member back to Duluth to pick up the 4 cats at,Baranik, feed the colonies while towing them around then home.The black and white kitten was dumped at my colony on Thursday with multiple neck wounds and skinny as all heck.Dr.B was great and let me substitute this little guy because original cat Minion was killed on highway 78.All of this could have and should have been prevented.Shame on those responsible.

Second post: While out feeding 4 of 6 colonies I was supposed to trap 2 at the end for TNR tomorrow at Baranik,they are great but low and behold a dumped kitten, app.4 months maybe, with multiple deep wounds, so of course I have to trap the kitten.Hoping Baranik can fit the kitten in, if it's a male they can.This is so sad but hoping maybe someone is missing this sweet kitten.

First post: very cold out but the litter boxes had to be changed out and washed.It is real windy so that helps a bunch with drying.I am small but hoping what I have done and what I'm hoping to do will make a difference in the lives of these beautiful cats.My two guardian angels Kathleen and Melissa lend their support as often as they can and I am forever grateful.Let us all try and connect this year with family and friends because we never no when this day will be our last.I can only pray that the beautiful souls that were lost in New Orleans were with friends, family or loved ones.

Can anyone help these cats?Not asking for rescue just someone with finesse to convince her and help her to get these cats fixed.An older neighbor told me that the woman told her many get eaten by hawks or killed by cars.You can see highway 20 in background.I have seen several cats killed directly parallel to her property on 20.She feeds them but doesn't fix them.I saw two very skinny kittens as well.Looks like at least 12.
