Don't let the cooler temps and colorful leaves fool you! It just doesn't quite stay cold enough in Georgia to get rid of those pesky mosquitoes, ticks and fleas. We recommend keeping your pets on heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention all year long.

And with the changing season we need some new pet pics to add to our digital picture frames in the lobby. Post them here in the replies or send them to [email protected] and we'll make your pet a star!

Congratulations to our favorite SCAH couple Courtney and David on their gorgeous wedding this past Saturday!

They both started as kennel techs, David in 2012 and Courtney in 2013. They worked their way up to veterinary technicians and left us in 2018 and 2019 to pursue their dreams both graduating from UGA with Veterinary degrees in 2020 and 2021. We are so very proud of them and honored to have been a part of their special day!

Everyone meet Darcy! She is a 5 year old Labradoodle that is in need of a either a temporary home for 1 year while her owner is teaching in Korea, or a permanent home. She is laid back and gets along with other dogs. She does take medication for seizures of which will be paid for. Contact us at the office if you have room or know someone that does. 770-554-9060

It's bring your pig to work day! Because, why not? Meet Daphne, an 8 month old Kune Kune pig. She loves all foods and belly rubs.

*We do not treat pigs here at the clinic, only cats and dogs. But Melissa B. likes to occasionally treat the staff and clients to something they may not see everyday. :)

We have 3 kittens in need of good, forever homes! Not related even though they look it! Longer haired black and white female about 8 weeks old, all black female about 10 weeks old, and black with a white patch on chest male is 12 weeks old. All tested negative for feline leukemia/feline aids and had first vaccines and dewormings. Super playful! Call or come by for more info 770-554-9060
